A nice surprise, while every previous Radiator Springs Classic singles and box set release up to now has just been re-releases from CARS 1, for the last (?) two box sets of 2013, a surprise new release – especially the Dinoco 400 Box Set with Jay W. – presumably the W stands for Jay Ward, […]

So, while the first retail 2014 2-pack Movie Moments case is not terribly exciting (CASE F), there was hope that the Kmart First-to-Market CASE A would contain better releases scheduled. Well, 3 of the releases in the case are: So, clearly these 3 are not the first to market … hopefully the other 2 are […]

“John H.” spotted these in the overstock overflow section (aka: gardening) – hopefully they will make it out to your retail show floor – or you can jst help yourself as long it doesn’t snow, sleet or rain on it. The oddball M case is a re-configured/re-packed case with 2013 Theme Cards […]

While the overall singles scheduled are not too exciting, the 2-pack Movie Moments look interesting and the oversized Deluxe lineup definitely looks pretty good. Of course, Nelson Blindspot and Chuck “Choke” Cables is already out so we’re off to a good start diecast character wise. The fact there’s only 1 Chuck Cables in each case […]

Thanks for the great pics, “Mariela P.” It looks like there’s some life left in the Radiator Springs Classic (TRU only) lineup … 2 new 3-pack box sets! Including a actual new diecast! The Dinoco 400 Race Fans box set contains a new CARS character, Jay W. (along with original Mia & Tia). And the […]

There are two more listings – wave 2 of these Pit Crew launchers – Octane Gain & Francesco – though they might sport the 2014 Theme look versus the 2013 Theme cards. The new Pit Crew Launchers don’t seem to have much of an in-store retail presence but are available online. These are narrower than […]

Thanks Rob (My 6 Kids) for the detailed photos! The “second” case of 2014 singles has arrived. On the surface, it’s not bad – 1 Super Chase, 1 Chase and 2 other “new” CARS but it’s a poor case assortment. Out of 24 CARS in this case, there are 4 “new” CARS diecasts. That’s 17% […]

Almost literally carrying over from 2013, nearly all the Tuners from 2013 carry over to 2014. We don’t know the full 2-pack lineup but it does not seem there are many tuners on that list. So, Yakoza does not make the list but if you already had him and either didn’t buy the 2-pack Movie […]

Continuing from 2013, CARS singles & multi-packs are grouped by theme – For 2014, “Radiator Springs” no surprise – comprises of the townies of Radiator Springs – all from CARS 2006. There is an actual “new” CAR in this theme. Well, if you call a tampo decal on Sally as Sally with Tattoo as “new.” […]

CARS diecast singles 2014 launches with Case T. Yes, pretty odd. Every new year of every toy line gets a CASE A to get off the new year (whatever time the calendar is) with a fresh start. The letter A cries out to all – it’s a new start. We have new. You want the […]
