Found this photo in an old folder that someone sent me … so I cannot tell if it’s a repack-return or legit but either way, it’s enough to make me cry like a little baby. Though at least the sign says Chick Hicks so someone might think Frank’s pic was just a generic shot … or who knows, someone might pay $800 for this error card … though I’m holding out for Trunk Fresh Pitty on a Bessie card … the holy grail of CARS error cards.

I’ve got a few packaging errors like this… My favorite is from Kmart 2 – Mini on a Chase Mario cardback… I’ve also got a few of the Chase Cars with wrong accessory error (King with Chick Hicks Piston cup), Chase Mater without the oil lamp, and the very common Chase Van with the invisible bumper sticker).
I’ve seen a few Cars2 packaging errors with the wrong label inside the blister… the only one I have was the Metallic Jeff Gorvette with the Metallic Lightning McQueen name tag… I left the numerous Holley Shiftwell with wings with Submarine Finn McMissile name tag on the shelves.
