Your Bobsled Olympic Dreams Can Come True

The Whistler Sliding Centre is now open for your usage …

The two-hour training for newbies includes an orientation, a helmet fitting, and a sliding session walk-through, which covers sleigh positioning, track etiquette, and safety guidelines. On the bobsled, three amateurs are paired with a professional pilot, while skeleton novices get strapped to their own sled and sent down the hill solo. (It’s too difficult to train beginners in luge, so it’s not part of the public program.) Even at pedestrian speeds, tackling the course can be a strenuous challenge. Stay on the rails by keeping your eyes on these curves.

Good luck!
