If you missed out on the pre-order of cases and still want one – Kmart might have them back online. They claim they found another 600 cases … of course, it may or may not be live, working or accurate but good luck!
There are 24 in the case and that is the latest listing of what should be in each case …

Yep, worst Kmart day ever.
Usually I never have a problem getting 2 of each car (1 to keep carded, 1 to open). But not this time. My Kmart only got 1 Master case of 4 cases. There was about 20 people there, none of whom I’ve ever seen before, and I’ve been collecting cars and attending Cars Day since it started. My son had his football game this morning, so I had to do it solo. And of course my ticket is one of the last called to go through the leftovers.
It was so frustrating to watch groups of family members go repeatedly before me. I’m grateful that some of the families had kids that genuinely seemed excited to get them, but I know nobody there was a completist collector like me and most likely HW scalpers. Now I have to either order a case, or get them on ebay.
Heck, I even let a fellow collector who collects Star Wars, have the ONE AT-ST crew that we both have been looking for for several months, as we both had our hands on it at the same time. He then got Mary, Alexander, and Lewis because his number was called early. Thanks for the help karma.
Hey just got my first cases today. My contents were the same as BMW received so I’m thinking this is the true assortment. A bit different than what Kmart promised but close.

(MET: It certainly seems plausible there are more LM’s but until we get a better sampling of open cases, it’s hard to say 100%).
The cardback on Mcqueen is the same cardback from Kmart 8. The only difference is the manufacturing code.
At least it is not like the one cases assortment we got awhile back.
Well supposedly mine left Ohio this morning and are on the way. Why do I just keep getting this feeling I am going to get cases of Kmart day 4 or something? It’s so crazy you can never be sure what you are going to get when you order from Kmart but I spun the wheel anyway.

Well folks, I can tell you one thing … Kmart will NEVER cease to amaze ANY of us and here is why …
I went to my last remaining Kmart today, and I NEVER find anything there, but I go in once every coule weeks just to check. Yesterday I went in and there just happened to be a stockman working the aisle where Disney Cars were. For laughs, I asked him to tell me if there were any more Disney Cars in the back …. he looked, said he didn’t see any … I noticed his magic gun on his hip …. asked him to scan it …
He did ….
Know what is said ….
it said 400 on hand ….
that is no typo …. 400 ….
He went to the back again into a separate smaller room … I could just see inside it from the double doors … he found all the cars ….
There were 5 master case of Kmart Exclusive Cars there ….
Not Kmart Day 9 ….
or even 8 ….. or 7 ….
There were 5 Master Cases of K DAY 6!!!!! 4 of them still SEALED … sitting in the stockroom for 17 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(MET: That’s funny … Last time I asked a guy in the toy department for a scan, he seemed confused they even sold diecasts …).
Whoa, I’ll take those Kmart Day #6 any day! I obviously join the frenzy a bit late, and I have no idea what Kmart Day #6 is composed of. It’ll all be surprises to me!

Reminds me of the lady who posted finding Kmart 1 Cars on the pegs a year after the event.
Well I went ahead and ordered a few of these supposed 600 that were found. Got confirmation on them and 1 case is supposed to be on the way. Guess I’ll have to see what I get. Nothing would suprise me. Well a good error like getting extra chase cars would be cool but unfortunately that never happens with Kmart. Just the bad errors like order crew chief two packs and get Zen Master pity packs instead. That’s what happened to me the last time I tried to order anything from Kmart.
At least at the store is buy 5 get 1 free till Saturday!

I think how many Cars Mattel, Kmart,Walmart, Target and more would sell if they’d get their act(s) together…
Hopefully these 600 cases aren’t from cancellations from orders placed on Sunday.
Just happened to walk into the back room, tripped over something, hey, what was that? Oh just 600 cases of cars! Whew better be more careful next time, you almost had RIP all over you!
