Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: CARS All in Germany

On one hand, we are saving lots of money … unless of course you want to fly to Germany to buy CARS – they seem fully stocked.

In fact, the D Case of Movie Moments would be a nice case that we’ll never see in the US.

3x Ron Hoover& Cathy Copter
3x McQueen & Kori Turbowitz
2x PT Flea & Flik
2x Dusty & Rusty Rusteze
2x Luigi & Ferrari F430

We know they are Target exclusives but there are no specific dates … hopefully we’ll start seeing them soon but it might be late Autumn before we start seeing these …

Thanks for the photos, Stephan S.!

I know I keep asking, but is there any news on when the case D 3 pack will be coming soon? Also I must say that I haven’t seen any case E, F, or G singles at Target or TRU. Though I haven’t been to WM lately, so I am not sure if they have them here in NorCal. Target and TRU seem to have gotten in a lot of cases C and D. They are all I can find.

I am getting bored waiting for new cars! I don’t think Mattel understands that most most collectors want to buy cars on a weekly basis, not a bi-, tri-, (whats the word for 4 and 5) monthly basis.

  • L8rM8r says:

Yeah I know I have been able to catch up a bit without anything new coming out. I do like that case assortment and hope that we see it someday.

I like the contents of that D case… if only they could come up with a similar case in the US… and in Canada… and all other places where we’d buy Cars if they were only available…

a little slow down is good for my wallet right now. May is a tough month for me, we have lots birthdays and then first week in june anniversary and then my son’s birthday.

    • Matt B says:

Wow sounds like my May as well….Anniversary and Mother’s Day on the same weekend, wife’s b-day at the end of the Month and then a trip to the beach for week! WOW…I am kind of glad for the slow but would love to see some Todds out there!

Hey all you european posters (or those with packages from europe). What country is the distribution point for european releases?
Are the taxes what’s causing the pricing to be so high?

    • Sylt says:

Hi from germany, as far as I know their is no central distribution point in europe for releases. Each country has his own Mattel center. The high pirices I donΒ΄t understand either. In germany 19 % tax is already included in the selling price.

  • DeShaun says:

This line is still going? I thought they stopped making all Cars in general.

  • Mike H says:

“What should we do with these cases, Mister Matty?”

    “Give me a dart, knuckle-head.”

    “Yes, Mr. Matty.”

(throws dart at a world-map) *poit!*

“Ship em’ to Germany. Now hurry up, I need more floor space for those Ghostbusters figures.”

  • 5oclockshadow says:

… and nothing new of course. Kind of interesting that they would have more multiples of the Copters over the McQueen 2-pack. Are they starting to break the McQueen cycle? Of course, helos are much cooler, but that is coming from a former rotorhead. =)

  • Brett W says:

I was just in Germany and while they had lots of stock in many places around Munich, I didn’t see a singled card going for less than 6euros ($8) and movie moments for 12.99 euros, three packs for 14.99 euros. Those are some steep prices; we definitely have it lucky over here in the US.

(MET: What about the beer steins that come in the 4-gallon size?)

  • chuki_mama says:

Wish our TGTs around here would get new stuff! There is just lots of WOC Movie Moments and the singles case with ROR Yeti!!! πŸ™

  • John says:

Wow…. more distribution issues. Go FIGURE
