Mattel Pixar Diecast CARS: The Collector’s Guide Book Inside Pages

There will be NINE different tickets as different categories … well, 9 colors and the CHASE CARS ones will have mini banners … though clearly there is a disconnect already as they realized it was hard to do ‘real’ tiny banners on the printed ticket (since the blister space was assigned) so they moved the tiny banners to drape on the CHASE banner as artwork instead … (example – CHASE Impound McQueen below).

Sample pages inside …

And of course, since they printed these months ago, they already are changing up the names on the sublines such as while the packaging of the Piston Cup trailers are gray color tickets (as shown above), they are called HAULERS as opposed to TRUCKS & TRAILERS … and all along, the oversized blister card lineup (new Blimp, LS McQueen and Marco) have been listed as OVERSIZED – here, they are called MEGA SIZE which is actually much less confusing since some CARS are NOT actually oversized, just the blister pack …

AND the new Mack Carrying Case along with the new Gift 3-Packs, both with WHITE TICKETS and not listed in the book …

Not included in the ticket color scheme … STORYTELLERS? LANE MATES? MOVIE MOMENTS – still not assigned numbers unless they get a singles release?

Though, “CARS TOONS,” the Expanded Universe line based on the new shorts is in the booklet numbering & color scheme and covered in this post.

This is just a preview of a few of the pages, otherwise, why would you buy the book 🙂

Of course, we have numbers for about 75 releases so far so we know there will be at least another 60 CARS, Haulers, etc, etc … to be released in 2009 already assigned a number … though again, multi pack CARS don’t seem to get a number …

Updated & current numbering for WOC & WOC: Race O Rama is HERE.
