It looks like they just list high dollar items from each line?
the target exclusives will be their hot toys
as it will probably be most of what they have
no cars or planes on the list is not good
Cars items were also absent from the Toys R US Hot Toy list for the upcoming Christmas holiday season… Neither Mattel nor company buyers really know what their customers want.

I think the so called “hot toys” are those the company buyers have purchased and their butts are on the line to sell all of them. The buyers have to order so far in advance their idea of a “hot toy” is many months old.
