If you’re lucky, there is an unprecedented amount of CARS diecast singles floating around – retailers are still receiving/moving from distribution and opening cases H, M, N, P, Q & R cases which contain CHASES, SUPER CHASES and beloved sought after releases. It is or can be a bounty of CARS …I don’t believe there has ever been 6 singles cases all available to order, or was ordered or shipping … even in the crazy early days of CARS 2, even though all the first 4 cases essentially contained the same 4 CARS, Mattel ran out of A&B pretty quickly …
You will find all or some of these choices on the pegs …
Or the other side of the coin – your area got a case a few months ago (perhaps even one of the 6 above) and you don’t have much to worry or fuss over – there are about 4 diecast choices …

Is RPM 64 out in stores yet? Does anybody know the case?
Target stores near me in Canada have NOTHING, and local Walmarts have remnants of Case C, so I drove to The States yesterday. The Walmart I went to was stocked with Toons which, for me, was very exciting. Their Target also had nothing except Cars 2 Finns, Francescos, and Petrov Trunkovs but there were a couple of four-packs available that didn’t float my boat. Kmart had a lingering selection of the last deluxe case (sad, lonely Dustin Mellows and a single Materhosen) and a few Edwin Kranks. It was the most exciting thing I’ve ever seen at that Kmart, aside from the goodies they get for collector days. My trip wasn’t a total bust but I came home with more money left in my account than usual.
I’d faint if I saw anything that looked as good as the list above at any store.

Rare? Every Target, Big Lots, Toys R Us, Walmart and Kroger’s is swimming with them.
My apologies. It was a fairly lame joke. I didn’t mean the Yukio everyone is getting at retail, I was referring to the ‘invisible’ one in the space at the bottom of the pic with this post. Being invisible, it would be the first ‘super duper chase’ as it would be impossible to find.
Most of the stores in my area have never put on the shelves any Cars from the 2013 serie and have the very same old Francescos and McQueens since two years!
I will be in Chicago for two weeks in october, I hope I will be luckier this time!

Met: Yukio (case R) and Miguel Camino (case P) is missing from your graphics list.
Most of these cases have been here in Texas at retail stores, you have to be there at opening or when the pallets come in otherwise you won’t get the newest releases Wheelsen, Boost with Flames, Maurice or the elusive Super Chases. The Hot Wheels collectors are getting those Supers it seems. Still haven’t seen R or N here.
Thanks to ‘marker car’ Jeff Gorvette we can see just how many stores had case P.. always picked clean before we got there.
I’d add Cactus McQueen to the short list of pegwarmers.
I decided to stop at a few stores about 60 miles from home last night… One Walmart has the same 6 Francesco singles they had 6 months ago – no new Cars have appeared… another Walmart had an equal distribution of McQueen with Cone and Francesco… and the Kmart… still about 10 Silver Series pegwarmers… Both Walmart stores had most of the 2013 case B Movie Moments… Kmart had McQueen/Francesco from 2011 case A… Distribution is still an issue.
