Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Disney Australia Diecast Reveals

Disney Australia has put up photos of most of the announced singles for 2012. Some we have already previewed here, others are characters names already announced and the diecasts are essentially matching … but some are nice reveals that answer some questions …

Andy Gearsdale is actually a nice military truck.

Don’t expect anything new in the stores until all the summer blockbusters have run their course, and, new merchandise begins getting stocked for Christmas. That should be after the stores take down the back to school paper and pencil and backpack displays.

In the meantime, for Mother’s Day, head over to a Hallmark shop. I just picked up a set of salt and pepper shakers of McQueen and Sally for a great-grandmother. There was also a set of McQ and Mater. Plenty of other toy line salt and pepper shakers from all the Pixar movies and Marvel movies. Just don’t let the grand kids smash them into each other.

For you Washington residents, they are carried at the Mark’s Hallmark franchise stores. Better than getting someone a plant that will die.

This is the start of a new era in Cars

Those look awesome, although I’m not holding my breath that we will see them in any reasonable amount of time.

Therein lies the problem. Many months straight of seeing what’s coming or what Cars are out in other places but not the most important thing- being able to go to our local stores and find new cars. It has everyone I know down. It hasn’t been hunting season around here in too long, and we live in NYC. Definetly not a lack of stores to shop, just nothing at any of them to buy in far far too long.

These are all so cool! I can’t wait!!!!!!

  • hostile takeover banker says:

Wow! That raises more questions than it answers.
    Are those Mattel 1:55 scales?
If so, what are they doing at the disney store?
Where exactly is the disney store in Australia?
and more importantly, how soon can I get these?!?!?!

  • bubbabob says:

finally, something to get excited about

  • Tav75 says:

Love it!!! Waiting for the arrival!!

  • cac1959 says:

These are quite nice… here’s hoping these are actually released and soon… unlike the Missing in Action Cars from the 2009 Collector’s Guide that have never been released… like Mood Springs and N2O Cola Pittys, Shiny Wax Hauler, Wrecked Fabulous Hudson Hornet, Modified Mater… Toons such as El Materdor without hood (and a US release of El Materdor would be nice), Kabuto with flames, Daredevil McQueen with flames, Sanban, and Tansou… and other items we saw in prototype form…

    Bring them on, Mattel.
