Disney Pixar CARS 2: New Lego CARS 2 + New Friends + Sale
Lego has announced 8 new CARS 2 sets for 2012. They are in-stock already at the Lego Store (not all available at Amazon yet).

They are also having a rare sale including 50% off on the Pizza Planet truck (plus a couple CARS 2 sets)
They are introducing a new lineup for girls called FRIENDS after extensive research. There is an interesting article in BusinessWeek where Lego discusses that girls like to build things, just differently – were/are the current Lego sets not appealing to girls?
It does look like the first wave is selling well – also available at Amazon.
And there are some fun new Star Wars sets …

The new Cars Legos are at Target – we bought them on December 26th :o)
With that being said, the original Cars 2 Legos I bought before December 26th are all clearanced now. Ugh !
All the initial Cars 2 Lego sets are now getting clearanced at Target. If you are into these and missed a few, check it out!
On another note, my two little girls showed interest in playing with legos. BobbyJack never did. Too many Cars and Thomas trains to play with, I guess.
Saw these @ Target over the weekend; took some pix to send, but then spent the next few days rooting a trojan out of my laptop instead. Was surprised to see new sets being put on the shelves after Christmas; what’s up with that? There were also new Marvel superhero sets on the shelves.
