hey everyone i was curious if i got a rare car from cars 2. its a ape car from cars 2. almost the same color eal as petrov. any idea whrn these are coming out.

Went to Toys after reading this post and bought one of the games. I have to admit. The McQueen looks pretty cool with the silver. The silver sparkles too. I think it is a pretty sweet car. I will be buying another one to keep sealed. It rang up 18.99.
Is it metal or plastic … so hard to tell from the pictures!! 🙂
Whoever dreamed up this “game” apparently doesn’t have kids. My son and his friends need no encouragement to fling or otherwise use Cars as missiles.

BTW, did anyone else hit their TRU today to notice they pulled down the HUGE main display of Pokemon and had started replacing it with Cars 2???????? IT looks AMAZING!!!!!!!! No product on the shelf yet, but they said it would be done tomorrow. I plan on going by to see if they have any NEW surprises!! 🙂
Cool! I hope that means they are getting the next wave of releases soon! Come on Miles, Hydrofoil Finn and the Sumos! Wss planning on hitting a TRU that I haven’t been to in a while tomorrow.
Our TRU has the new display. Same products as before. Still a full diecast aisle too.
Same here in Chicago. It might be case D though. It’s kind of hard to tell. Great looking display though, with a fully stocked area in the front, plus a stand-alone cube in the wide side aisle, and the regular Cars section by the hot wheels as usual.
Case E is rumored to be out there somewhere. Never know what might turn up. Only one way to find out. I’ll post tomorrow night what I find.
Looks like E has been revised. It was to only have Miles, but appears to have Petrov, who was scheduled for F. There are no Hydraulic Ramones, so maybe F was revived too. Any contents Met? And, will Rip Clutchgoneski come out? He’s the only racer not announced. Please Mattel, don’t make him the exclusive in #3, never to come out again. Any more Crew Chief Kmart sets sceduled? When will the next KM and WM MMs and Target 4 packs come out?
Case E was always supposed to be 3 Miles and 3 Petrov. Not quite sure who told you otherwise.
Case F is going to be hot: 3 Hudraulic Ramone and 3 Aston Martin.
I have a bunch of scheduled Assortments but not allowed to reveal them all.

Dude … ringer T’s and Three’s Company hair! The early 80’s are back my peoples. Don’t believe me? I bet there will be remakes of Teen Wolf and the Smurfs (as a movie) coming soon to a theater near you. 🙂 Now I have to spend $22 on a car in a big ole case to store with the carded collection? Dang you Mattel!

This reminds me of the rollin bowlin mater game. I thought the same thing about buying it and ended up having to pay a lot more for it later on. I have learned a lot since then. I can see everyone passing this up and then when it goes away (which might not happen) all of us panicking to get a hold of one. I a buying at least one. I am taking no chances when it comes to the exclusives this time around. Just something to think about.
Just think, those 2 kids on the back of the box were among the very first to hold and play with the new Cars 2 characters. Hope they didn’t go home empty-handed!
I think we are going to stick with McQueen with Racing wheels and the Metallic McQueen. Not even going to get the rubber tire McQueen. If the silver numbered McQueen makes an appearence in the movie, we may reconsider. But for right now, we will wait.

Anybody see the mater puzzle exclusive at tru?
Yes I bought Mater (1 of 4) and Raoul (2 of 4) at TRU yesterday $7.99 each… Looks like “silver mark” will be like the NEW “CHASE” items or sort of side rare items (variants) to collect. These will be quite more expensive to “collect them all”… I am already not sure to buy this play set just to have silver McQueen… Give a couple days to think about it… 🙂
An exclusive McQueen diecast that you have to smash up to get into the Winner’s Circle? That doesn’t sound like a job for an exclusive McQueen… fortunately I have many extra McQueen from the first Cars movie that will do the job.
