Disney Pixar CARS: CARS2 Preview + Race Display Carrying Case
Of course, the first CARS 2 movie trailer showcased some of these CARS already but here are the official previews of their new looks.
Since McQueen is the 4 time Piston Cup champion – he’ll represent the “Piston Cup” in the World Grand Prix races so instead of the Rust-eze logo, he’ll sport the Piston Cup logo. Plus a new spoiler and new rims … though since he’s racing on different surfaces, we should be getting McQ with different tire & rim changes.
I’m guessing Mack will get a new look … Will we get a throwback EGGMAN look?
His pit crew team … all sporting the new door logo …

Interesting… 😀 Wonder if Mattel will put out Lenticular versions of these….. LOL JK I hope not… 😀 I’m down with the race stands displays for me to put it in one of the acrylic cases from Michael’s LOL 😀
was loving fall and end of 2010 as the new releases were coming fast and furious. now we have ground to a halt? where is valdez, chet, shiny wax hauler, new crew sets, cars toons, final laps, etc.?? come on mattel, change the paint color and logos on the crew sets and get them out there.
Very cool! I know 1 little 3 year old who is going to go crazy when he realizes there is a Cars2 coming out!
I’m wagering the radiator springs group with old looks with be the case fillers on new card backs…of course…
Can’t build onto the house, but definitely need to build some display shelfs.
I am hoping to find that carrying case by August. That new one full of cars 2, the one Jeff gifted me full of rubber tire cars and its easy traveling to WA and NO damaged cars LOL.
2 Years ago when I flew and my carry-on had 214 cars in it including some minis, a couple cherished teddies, few other misc. cars items that security man gave me some very very odd looks. At least he didn’t want them all unwrapped.

I’m not sure if this is the correct spot to ask this, so I apologize in advance…
Are there different versions of the Chase Mater with oil can? I have two Chase Mater with oil can and the facial expressions are completely different. One has his mouth closed like he’s sipping oil through a straw, the other looks identical to regular mater. The packaging is exactly the same on both vehicles, and the number on the front of the package is 130 on both. Is one of them a fluke? Or are they supposed to be different?
There are 2 different mouth plates for Mater with Oil Can. The sipping one and the teeth showing one. I’ve found several of both so I’m not sure which one is rarer.
In Chicago I have seen only the pursed/closed mouth one. Maybe the mouth open version is simply mispackaging a non-chase lenty Mater in the Chase Mater’s package?
Upon closer inspection, the “toothy” chase Mater w/ oil can has different lenticular eyes than the regular and the “pursed lips” chase Mater w/ oil can. Toothy Mater’s eyes close.
What’s up with Sally?….is she Mrs. McQueen?….a few little Lightnings running around the garage in “drip-pan diapers”? (now there’s a sponser) 😉 How will she fit in to this worldwide madness?

They also have new Cars 2 posters out with Sally, Lizzie, Sheriff, Ramone, and Flo; but they all look the same as the first movie. At least there should be a Lizzie for the Cars 2 line.

Looks like Fillmore will be back. Who’ll voice him. Also dissapointed his friends aren’t painted red to look like McQ. Ramone could’ve done that easily.
I believe Lloyd Sherr is credited as the voice of Fillmore.
Looking forward to seeing more and more of these. The movie will be the kicker … and I have a feeling that I will need to build that addition to the house we have been talking about since late 2006 😉
Hmmm, don’t think I will be going down this route too much, still waiting for pitcrew Mack & pitcrew mater (briefly seen I beleieve holding the ‘stop’ board – maybe wrong though!) However being totally British I will be getting Finn & Tomber which is based on a Reliant Regal 3 wheeler..and any other brits that may appear..but then again I am a sucker for oddball cars like the Zeta, Grem etc..wait and see whats available over here..once film launches I guess first fleet of collectables will be in plentiful supply..
I have said that too – going to try to ward off these ones but a Corvette?! Come on!! My dad had a gremlin many eons ago. Going to ‘try’ to sit on the fence (strap, bolt and glue myself down)
