Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Last Lenticular 3-Pack?

This looks like the final release of the lenticular 3-packs – maybe forever, maybe just for 2010 …

Unless Dinoco Mia or Tia arrive in another box set, this should be their only release (as lenticulars).

The Bling Bling McQ is the same as the single card release.

His eyes move different than the first lenticular release (on the Race O Rama cards).

Yeah i saw alot of 3 packs at the targets in my area.

  • LUCA says:

    i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed !!!!

  • Jack says:

All I can say is someone should be at least suspended for putting goodly eyes on the hotties Mia and Tia. They shouldn’t be crossed eyed ever !

Back from Target… The 9-Pack has already been reduced for the week to $29.99 in case you missed it at $39.99 or $19.99. This particular store had over 30…yes that’s THIRTY of these on the shelfs. Wonder how many would be left if they included Apple car? 🙂

Also, couldn’t help but notice that Target, TRU, and Walmart seem to have a huge stock of toys out this year. Really nice Hot Wheels display at Target with a cool “MPH” tester. I picked up a few Ferraris for 77 cents each. Too bad our favorite cars are not 77 cents right?

I have count 42 9-pack at one Target and 33 at the other one but the special was not shown yet… I will see how many will go off the shelves after a week. Considering at $20 for one day (black friday) only few get sold (myself I picked two) I will be surprised to see if they can get down to half of it…

On another note, does anyone have the inside scoop on when (or if) the Disney Store is going to do their Buy One, Get One Free toy sale?

  • djbennett22 says:

weird the picture inside the box is from race o rama.

  • I hope that’s the last one. I hated the lenticulars.

You want to see what is coming??? Look at these on ebay.

    270675720027 Coriander Widetrack
    270675633993 Derek Decals Dobbs
    270675142905 CHUCK The Camera Operator
    270675588366 Hooman
    270675650410 Swift Alternator
    270675588304 BYE BYE KAR

I quite not understand why some poeple are ready to pay a lot of money for a loose car. Just because they are not out yet???… In couple months their value will be just a fraction of what they are paying today… And of course they are RARE ! They are not on the market yet… This ebay seller is very funny but rich!

    • I-am-speed says:

Gotta love Chuck the Camera Operator, headphones and all! 🙂

    • Fillmore1234 says:

I Got the Numbers for those lazy to not look them up. (I couldn’t resist checking them out 😛 )

      #158. Swift Alternator
      #160. Derek “Decals” Dobbs
      #161. Wilmar Flattz
      #162. Hooman
There you go! (The rest were strangely loose so I couldn’t get a number. What are the #s for Coriander Widetrack and Chuck the Camera Operator?)

  • pixarmaj says:

Still nice to get any mia tia cars.

  • TarheelBill says:

This is not exactly an exciting 3 Pack. I just wish they did as good a job getting singles, that we really want, in the stores as they do 3 packs.

  • cac1959 says:

Bye-bye, lenticular 3 packs… I only bought 3 of them… Antonio/Costanzo/Ferrari (to turn into ornaments for my Cars Christmas tree), Pit Crew Sarge/PC Fillmore/McQueen (I like how the eyebrows change on the 2 pit crew Cars), and the Marco/RCK/Fred set – wanted Marco & RCK for my grandchildren to play with…

The 3 packs used to be decent and I’d order cases… team sets with racer/pitty/crew chief… but Mattel did things like releasing 1 Car in the 3 pack only (Dirt Track Doc) which forced us to buy lots of extras to get the 1 new Car… and then they changed from the vertical to horizontal style so we’d buy them yet again… At last I’ve learned that I don’t have to buy all the variants in packaging.

And now with the new Walmart 4 pack re-releases, they’re back to the vertical style… Anyone else think that Walmart ordered tens of thousands way too many of them?

  • I-am-speed says:

May we all see the end of lenticulars VERY soon!!!

    Lenticulars stands for:

Lame embarrassing nauseous terrible inane crappy ugly lousy awful ridiculous scrap

  • BMW says:

    Hope it is the last.

  • Piston Car Hunter says:

I thought they were going to have some more 3-packs with “Mega size” Cars included?
