These 4 packs are how I filled out some of my son’s racer collection. But jeez, what overkill with Lightning and The King.
Funny thing is, when I saw these at my Target I thought they were leftovers that had been hanging around some Target warehouse and had now reappeared…

We as consumers have the right, and in a sense, the obligation to speak up when something fraudulent or illegal is occurring, whether it be online or otherwise. If you want to make your voice heard report the item(s) to eBay security. They don’t often respond to one person reporting an item, but several people consistently and continuously reporting the same sellers for the same reasons will get eBay’s attention and they will act.
Mattel has already had several Cars2 items removed from eBay for copyright infringements and licensing violations, but they don’t have the time to sit and watch eBay for toy cars every day. That is where the consumer needs to step it up and take action themselves.
$52.95 was the winning bid for Holley! Wilmar only drew $29.00.
To add to the insult Holley Shiftwell was also SOLD for $80.98 USD (whitout shipping) last week… see 220700557500. Jonathan Wrenchworths get SOLD for the same price too… And don’t forget Wilmar Flattz get also SOLD for no less than $69 USD and is only…. a lenticular !!!

Hi Kevin, Kmart #6 Event is in June 2011. The full assortment mix is not yet determined for this event just yet as that asst mix will feature Cars 2 products as well as some Cars 1 product. As I have told Barbara previously, we cannot yet discuss that mix as it will have Cars 2 product in it. These cars listed below are not Kmart #6 product – they are items most likely that Mattel is releasing within their current assortment plans. This is not a spoiler to Kmart Event #6. Thanks.

When I went to the Disneystore UK today to hopefully find some more Final Laps, the chap said they are due to get the Cars2 cars in soon. No Final Laps – Delivery truck couldn’t get through the snow 🙁
Its too bad that they keep repeating McQueen, Chick, and King. Otherwise, you could line these packages up and have a pretty neat display.
The Pit Crew sets are all over my area. I picked up the only Octaine Gaine I could find but they have tons of HTB, Dinoco and Leak Less.
Yup those four packs are sittin’ pretty all over Toronto!!!
I finally found the long awaited Octain Gain crew set with the SUV crew chief and 3 pitties. At $20, I left it on the shelf.
Same here. My Target had one sitting there. I looked at it and put it back. They are way overpriced to begin with and there seems to be no plan to complete the sets for each team. Same with haulers…
I noticed a couple of these 4 packs show up on the shelves around here. Not bad for some one who is just starting out. I do LOVE those display boxes. I wish they would release the Apple I-Car in a 4 pack like this!! 😀
I have gotten several of the 4 packs but have used them to create my own poor man’s Speedway of the South set by switching out the racers… A few have rubber tires, but most are extras of plastic tire racers… I just got a Shopluckey custom Apple which will allow me to finish my 9th and final 4 pack – Tach O Mint & Gask-Its from KM5, Easy Idle from a Lightyear Launcher from a friend in Canada, and Apple… that’s a 4 pack that most people would like to have – especially if they all had plastic tires.
I saw the one with Tow Cap and Nitroade last Saturday but left it on the shelves… I’ll go ahead and get one with N2O Cola as I only have it as a promo and KM3 racer.
They do look nice in the display boxes… I guess I should have bought 7 of the Target 9 packs to create a custom set of the 35 remaining active racers paying tribute to the recently retired King (up top) but could not see paying that much money for cardboard display boxes… even this Cars-a-holic has his limits.
Now bring out the new Pit Row Race-off launchers… we want Tach O Mint!
Zellers up here in Canada receieved 4-8 cases (at 4 per case) of these around the same time they received 1 case each (if any) of the crew 4-packs.
Needless to say the crew sets flew off the shelves, and 3 BIG sales have hardly reduced the quantities of the racer 4-packs.
At the same time, aren’t they being (or attempting to be) sold by Zellers for $29.99?
I have not seen any move on my journies to Zellers all around.
