Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Final Laps Arrive … in the UK (Again)
As noted in our earlier post, these were to be the next 6 Final Lap CARS …
Didn’t think they all arrive in one shipment but here ya go …

Hi All.
I was in my local Target tonight here in Michigan.
I found all 6 new FINAL LAP vehicles.
I also found the new CHASE Mater w/ lamp.
My Target also had about 12 of the new Christmas Holiday 5-car box sets, but I have passed on it for the time being as the set is priced at $29.99 for the 5 cars ($6.00 per). This compares to $39.99 for the 9-car box set ($4.45 per), of which, I picked up on Black Friday for $19.99 ($2.22 per).
I truly dislike Mattel’s pricing.

Lenti Duff Wrecks has made its way to us here in Toronto… Walmart is so good to us sometimes…
The four pack of Tunerz made it too – “New/Nouveau” sticker on it and only 12$ when the singles go for $4.59 each…
The packaging was Us/English only with a multy-lingual warning sticker added to the back…
Oh yeah – And Mater with his lamp was there too!!!!!
Emphasis on “WAS”!!!
Thanks for the tip on the 4 packs as i would think they would be the Lenti 3 packs which are clogging the WM shelves.
Next question to everyone, I just spotted at Zellers the Mater the Greater Big Fan, but nothing else new.
What else came in the International case that this would have had to come in?
I can’t remember what when or how I scored mine… Sorry!

I just found Duff Wrecks today at Walmart in Burlington, Vt. Not sure if he has googly eyes or not (he is hidden away for Christmas now).
They should have named him “Timothy Twin to Flo”. 😉
It was a pretty good day! Seven new cars in one shopping trip, ‘cos I also found Mater with lamp at the Disneystore at the same time!
Great but I have not seen a post about the final laps being in the UK before, when was that? And I agree with JMBoost, where were they bought in the UK? Caught my local tescos just right after a new delivery so have got lenticular Tim Rimmer, paint mask mcqueen (with 3 wheels masked & 1 not- is that right?)and chief no stall.
(MET: Disney Stores UK).
Its right that chase mask mcqueen has one black wheel…don’t know why..I first thought it was a mistake but have checked four and all the same!!

My nearest is in Southampton and the lad who worked there had my list & number and all was great until he went off to college; he worked saturdays so told the rest of the workers to keep new ones ready for him to call me..they didn’t and I have not heard from them for months but really think I may have to swallow my pride and call them!
Great about the paint mask, thought it would be rarer. In that case I probably will paint over the googly eyes as I’m sure he closes his eyes in the film.
Hey, I can tell you that Southampton Disney store didn’t have the new Final Laps when I went in yesterday. I had someone check out the back for any new cases too.

Blimey, closer still. We are actually in Hordle. Bet its you who has been getting in first with some of the goodies when they do appear in Tescos etc 🙂 we are probably going to have to wait ages for them to restock again! Nice collection, which store did you find them in? May have to battle the ice & snow for these ones!
Okay, I noticed two things that do not look right.
First: Milo has some rusty looking scuffs on his silver lining on the die-cast but does not have it in the picture.
Second: Timothy Truecoat has bule hubcaps on the die-cast and not in the picture.
Where they this way in the movie? Or did they not make then completely right?
Third: I WANT THESE CARS SO BADDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!
Sadly the cards are really really thin.
Oh and Timothy on closer look doesn’t appear to be lenticular ready.

We have been waiting for some of these for a long time.Â
 This should put to rest the latest false rumor publicly posted on another site, by a collector who likes to pretend he has inside information and posted that the rest of the final laps this year would be only released in sets similar to the 9 pack.Â
 It’s no wonder Take 5 is the # 1 cars site. Who wants to read false information and lies all the time, that is all too common on other sites?
 It is just both sad and funny that other collectors actually believe and listen to what this delusional collector posts.Â
 Like the collector who I spoke to yesterday that bought 10 lenticular Duff Wrecks because he believed the fixed eyes version would only be available in a set as posted by the above referred to collector.Â
 Too bad integrity and truth is not required on other sites and people are allowed to be misled in this way. Â
