They use to say don’t buy a General Motors car that was assembled on a Friday or a Monday. On Friday everybody’s in a rush to get out the door, if they haven’t already called in sick. And. on Monday everybody calls in sick because they are plastered from the weekend. Must be the same in China!

It’s simple…if you want a smiley set just buy an extra Sarge’s Boot Camp and remove the bumpers and turn them upside-down!! 😉
Poor Murph… even if his goes upside down he’ll still have the ~~~ Charlie Brown hmmmm face about him….

You know what I think is going on? There is a worker who is assembling these things who simply can’t believe that the designer intended these cars to frown, since they’re a kids toy. And it just so happens that they can go on upside down, which is probably just a fluke. But it’s pretty hilarious nonetheless.
Assuming that the face plant variation cannot be done on TJ, Mattel has effectively conned a pure completist out of $160.00 for one four car set.

Can’t you just picture the executive meeting.. For the next two hours, have employee #54 put all the face plates in reverse on Pinkerton, then have employee #75 do the same thing to Charlie Cargo… and so forth.. muahhhhhahahahahahahahahah.
now you need 1 of each hahaah collect them ALL right? LOL
