I hear you and I told them you guys want them all. Collect them all.
Fell on deaf ears. “Oh, that one’s pink, who wants a pick Racer hauler?” or, “We have too many blues one’s, take those out as well”.
Told them it’s like the pit row Launchers, everybody wants them all.
They changed them…….. not my call.
Totally understand!! 🙂 Used to work late nights and weekends -for a salaried position- to get our projects out for production. Then marketing would “KILL” it because they didn’t like “something” or a customer wants to change the configuration and have the product out within the same timeframe!!! Talk about making me want to pull out my hair!!!!
Please don’t get TOO discouraged with marketing and negativity all around!!!
My daughter has been bugging me incessantly for that pink hauler. Just tell those marketing suits that girls collect these too…
Wow Martin, it looks like Marketing is as short sighted as a lot of us thought. If they really think that “Oh, that one’s pink, who wants a pick Racer hauler?”, than a lot of us are really in trouble as far as our collection goes. Here’s a thought. If Marketing REALLY wants to know how many want it, than make it a promotional give-away. OR, they could just do what a lot of us on here have said they should do, ASK US. Tell those marketing brains to have the market research people draw up a questionnaire and put it on Matty.com. I find it hard to believe that those same brainiacs thought Andrea or Chucki would sell, but not a “pink hauler”. Your design team is doing a great job Martin, Thanks.

Great question on how many Racer Haulers will be released in the wild. That’s a Marketing call, I’d like to do them all 🙂 recreate the entire pit roooooooooooooow.

If only your marketing can visit the WalMarts & Targets in South Puget Sound WA, then they will see that as soon as these haulers hit the shelf, they are just as quickly being bought up. Went to Target in the morning once to pick up a prescription and they told to to come back later. When I returned later in the afternoon, ALL the haulers (2 cases) that had been on the shelf were gone.
It’s not just the collectors, but a lot of parents around this area REALLY love the haulers as well as the cars.
Does anyone have an idea of how many haulers there are going to be? I am sure there is no set number.

Can I ask a stupid question? but only because i havent been keeping up lately… Have we been in a dry spell? or did I just catch up and never knew it? Till just recently i thought I was never going to get Impound Snot Rod because I just never came across him but we went to Austin on Monday and found 2 in a Gas station of all places! and then I see the new hauler case and Im all agog that Im caught up with the haulers so far?!!! I think im going nuts!
everybody is clearing out the warehouses and the last several releases are flooding the pegs – now is the time to get caught up again

Are these going to be Target exclusive? Just curious since the Wally World’s around here are red tagging the hauler section.
(MET: Not exclusive but it is looking like many Wm’s will not be getting them).

It’s the exact opposite around here, WM put out 20+ haulers here this week, while our Targets stopped carrying them after the first case months ago.

If people are stupid enough to pay, then more power to him I guess.
Only advice I could give to anyone is use patience. If you don’t find it on the shelf when it is released, wait it out a few months before you resort to eBay.
