It happens every once in a while, International CARS cards are available in the US.

I’ve only seen an international card once in a store. 2013 2 pack of Nigel and Crew Chief at a TRU. I think I took a photo but it would be on my old phone.
The only place that I ever run into these is at Walmart. I wonder why. As far as those plinths go, I always assumed that they’re to let people i.d. the character when it buried back behind others. Looks silly on that one up front, but would suit the purpose for the ones sitting behind.
Some Skylanders have been sent to us with international cards now as well…odd
John, if you think that’s dumb, some of the older series (World of Cars onwards) had the names in multi-languages on the front plinth. Wow, that looked really weard!
By comparison, the character image is probably the least worst option. A blank plinth would be even worse!
As they have increased the number of languages used for the character names (up to ten), they just put them on the back of the cards.
As a predominently English speaking country, I’d prefer to have the US style cards, but as the UK is part of Europe we get the European international cards.
Given that not everything gets released in the UK, we have a mixture of European international cards and UK cards to complete the set!
I used to find random Race’O’Rama international cards all the time. It seemed to only be at Walmart though. Those were the good ol days when you could find random original Desert Cars on the pegs as well.
