Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecast: The Pit Crew Member Guido Accessory Variant
It looks like the Piston Cup Pit Row Gift Pack actually comes with a new CAR and a variant re-release of Guido.
While Pit Crew Member Flo differs from Waitress Flo only by the type of “oil” can she’s carrying, it turns out Pit Crew Member Guido also has an accessory variant (s).
I believe previous releases of Fixed Eyes Pit Crew Member came with the glued-together 4-small tires and a tool chest where the 95 number decal was on the side and not the back.
The current PCM Guido comes with 2-glued together “spare” tires that are actually McQueen sized plus the tool chest has the 95 logo on the back.
I think the lenticular PCM Guido release had the tool chest with the 95 logo on the back but NOT the “correct spare” tires.
The tool chest no longer has the 95 logo on the side.
So, while the revised 95 logo placement tool chest may have been released with lenticular PCM Guido, I’m pretty certain this is the first release of the larger spare tires for Lightning McQueen … this one I’m not willing to stake my life on it 🙂 as I’m not sure I’ve kept that careful track of PCM Guido but if you’ve been holding out on this set, now you have another $.10 to $.25 worth of plastic accessory to throw caution and your 401k to the TRU winds to collect ’em all.

The Pit Crew Member Guido pack with 95 on the back of the tool box was the rare one.
I found quite a few with the side 95, and almost gave up looking for the variant one. Then when least expected I found one on a trip through Sweetwater Texas at a Kmart.
I skipped this 3 pack. The accessories just weren’t worth it to me.
PCM Guido actually came with variant toolboxes — one with 95 on the side and one with 95 on the back. I forget which one was rare.
