Will probably not have time to go look for Cars. Since I am only going for less than a week by CAR, I will technically have only 3 or 4 days to visit Monuments, Museums, Zoos (Can't wait for Pandas!! Laugh) and a whole bunch more.

Also, from Quincy, IL to Washington D.C, it takes approximately 20 hours to get there! And I'll be driving through the night. Hopefully my car comes with a built-in Coffee machine. Wink

I'm trying to keep the post count down until they start calling you something other than just a "member".  Don't waste your time out here in DC looking for cars, I hit lots of stores in Maryland yesterday that I don't normally go to and didn't find any new cars.  Not going Cars hunting again until Kmart Day 7.  Have fun at the museums.  After the Agents on a Mission Tour back in May, we went to the Air and Space Museum and had a blast.  Have fun, sir.

That's a long haul, Fillmore. Have a safe trip and enjoy DC! If you have the time, I highly recommend the Udvar-Hazy Annex of the National Air & Space Museum near Dulles Airport, but at a minimum the Air & Space Museum on the National Mall is a must (especially the interactive flight simulator). Also, since the Washington Monument is still closed due to the earthquake in August, the Old Post Office clock tower will afford the best views of the city. Oh and Old Ebbitt Grill is a cool place to eat, just 2 blocks from the White House.

I've already got plans on going to a Hard Rock Cafe one of the nights. Laugh Never been to one and I can't wait! I'm taking many tours on Monuments and other things. Can't go to the Washington Monument or one of the Churches due to Earthquake issues (can't remember the name of the Church) and the Pentagon was booked due to the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. But I'm still gonna have a great time, hopefully! My family and I leave on Sunday!

I didn't even know there was a Hard Rock in DC. The National Cathedral is probably the other one that is closed, some pieces of it fell off during the earthquake.

Enjoy the trip!  I have been to DC 3 or 4 times and it is AMAZING!!!  Traffic can be a bear but it is all worth it.  Gotta check out the Air and Space Museum. Be safe and enjoy. Laugh

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself out here.  There really is a lot to do in Washington and if you have the time, Baltimore as well.  You also were able to find two lights and sounds cars that I haven't.  I was pretty sure before you left that you find Max out this way, but congratulations on Fillmore and Rod too!Laugh
