Showed your matte black Sheriff photo to my boys, one really wanted it so this afternoon we made a special trip to the mall to look for it. Among all the shiny Sheriffs there was one Chase. We took it up to the cash register and while one "cast member" was starting to ring us up, another grabbed it away and moved it to the back counter. "That's not supposed to be on sale yet", she snarled. I explaned that we made a special trip for just that one car, my boy was beginning to cry; they are five years old. "Its not supposed to be on the shelf until April 22", she replied. So we left, I doubt we'll ever buy anything from the Disney Store again.
Imagine taking a toy away from a child in a toy store. It wasn't his fault, they put it on the shelf and should have silently sold it to him then corrected whatever problem they have that led to its early shelving in the first place.

Oh man that stinks, so sorry that happened. I do have to say it is a very good looking car, I know some stores do put things out before they are suppose to but they always sell it. I have to say if they would have done that to my son I might have lost it.

Ridiculous. I would have asked for the manager on the spot, and if it was the manager that had done it then I would be asking for the district manager's phone number.

Had an exact opposite experience than John had…went in to pick up a Low Amd Slow LMQ for another member here. A girl that works there came over and asked me if I needed help, I grabbed a lmq and a memo rojas and I was like nope got everything I need. And she said are you sure because we got a delivery today do you want me to check if we got anything new?? I said sure, minutes later she came back with 2 of the new Chase Sheriffs. I have never had anything but good experiences at the DS. Sorry to hear about your experience John I would have surely talked to a district manager about that one!

I agree with SCAVENGER! You should contact the district manager.
My local stores are normally strict about not putting items on the shelf early, but for some reason they did not receive the memo about the Chase Sheriff. I picked up a couple last night.
I too am sorry you had that experience.

Chase Flash will be released shortly. He is all over eBay already. My local DS has them, but will not sell them yet. They don't know the release date either. A bit frustrating to say the least.

Spent most of the day roaming across Paris going from Toy Store to Toy Store. My best finds were at the Disney Store on the Champs Élysées and King Jouet.
Here are all the two packs I found so far. If anyone wants one let me know, I will warn you though they are expensive! Actually all cars are very expensive compared to the US here in France.
