The Pixar Canada Studio has been shut down. This studio created the shorts, “Air Mater, Small Fry and Partysaurus Rex.”

For CARS fans, they also created “Time Travel Mater,” as well as the three “Tales From Radiator Springs” shorts.

So, it’s a little surprising – but I guess they figured it was easier just to move the talent to Emeryville or Glendale at Disney Toon Studios – and save money on administrative staff duplication.

This also might explain the delay in the three CARS shorts they had announced/promised by Fall 2013 …
