This will be an interesting test – will anything Rip Clutchgoneski immediately sell out?

Thanks for the nice photo, “Quercy.”

Never had the need for Hydro Cars, until now. You know the line is sinking when RIP is one of the first racers released. Theres just something about metal that always looks good….Except…DS Mater. Will they ever get him right???

I’m always looking for rip. willing to trade my original disney cars from the first movie if I have to!
I have a lot of the newer ones too. If anyone’s interested in trading or need photos of my collection please send me a PM or email me.

New to this site so hopefully I can figure out how things work around here.

    Thanks

(MET: You can set up in the trading/selling forum by signing up – free – shoot me an email if the reg doesn’t work).

Bought or traded for all versions of Rip. Micro, hydro, launcher, diecast, except the squinkies one.
They are colorful and look great on display.

I still see the occasional Rip diecast at Academy and O’Reilly stores. The last one I’ve seen was last week at Hastings. There were so many at Walmart over the holidays. How did he become ‘rare’?

My 3rd yr. old son finagled a Hydro Rip out of his Gammy on a trip to TRU a couple of weeks ago. He’s fast – much faster than McQueen, who makes a terrible paddle boat. There were two on the pegs when I was there this morning. I can check if they’re still there, if anyone’s looking for one.

Bought 2 the other night for my kids to play with in the pool. Would not buy more if I saw them though unless I knew someone wanted it. Where I would NEVER leave a Rip diecast hanging!

Had to resort to ebay for the Rip diecast. Bought the micro drifter as soon as I saw it earlier this week. Hydro will get bought first time I see it as well. My boy loves his Rip!

  • Tom says:

I saw Rip Micro Drifters at the Target in Naperville, IL when i was there a couple weeks ago. I was able to resist…
I might actually go for the Hydro Wheels Rip, the boys have a lot of fun with those in the tub.

A couple of Hydro Rips have been on the pegs at a local Walmart for two weeks so far without selling.

My almost three year old nephew is Rip crazy. A good buddy from here was kind enough to help me get a Rip for him since I had an extremely close call.
Rip goes everywhere with him. He doesn’t really “play” with him just likes to have him and no one else can touch him. He has a Cars sandwich case that he goes into at night.
With summer coming and the pool getting opened last week I figured it best to see if we could find a Hydro one. I’ve had zero luck. Luckily a different good buddy one here just scored me one of him.
I did get the Rip Micro Drifer(and nephew has a little stash he’s getting for his b-day) when I saw him, but I’ve gotten all of them so far so it wasn’t that far fetched that I would grab him.
So for me I’m kinda gonna have to get two of everything Rip I find.

    (MET: Very cute!)

While I am not buying the Hydro Wheels, if I see Rip, I’m buying it.

I’ve not bought many Micro Drifters, but if I see the Rip 3 pack, I’m buying it.

If someone ever releases a boxed set with all 11 of the World Grand Prix Racers (including Rip), I’m buying it.

So at least in my case, if it’s Rip, I’m buying.
