Disney Pixar: TV Special “Toy Story of Terror” Coming Next Year

Presumably next fall for Halloween? Probably on ABC and then the Disney Channel.

22-minute TV Special.

Here’s the plot (er, SPOILER ALERT if you want to know NOTHING about it – stop reading!).

“What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story of Terror.”

I’m a sucker for any TV holiday specials so this is great news! Anyone who is convinced the Toy Story saga ended when Andy handed his toys over to Bonnie need not watch, but I think my kids and I will enjoy this one greatly.

*Thinks back to vacations of childhood* I’m going to guess one of the toys ends up lost under a motel bed? Whenever we left a motel my mom would have me peek under the beds to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, and more times than not I’d find one of my siblings’ toys.

A Pixar Holiday movie for every holiday please… Arbour Day, President’s Day, National Speak like a Pirate Day… Bring em on!

I think we should bump National Speak Like A Pirate Day up to number 1 on the priority list…

That’s funny. Guess you have been upgraded and conditioned to the Facebook and twitter world already. I have resisted up to this point but it doesn’t matter because they have the younger generation completely upgraded or more accurately downgraded already. It is amazing to sit back and watch how are world is changed.
Anyway we love everything g Toy Story around here. This looks great.
