German supermarket chain Billa apparently they got tired of people calling them idiots on Facebook, they promise to go back to selling Bananas 1.0 – the kind with the yellow skin that they thought was just too darn hard to open.

Also interesting is how a monkey opens a banana. Google it or look up some youtube videos. We can learn things from our primate friends.
Maybe the skins were all brown and nasty so the produce manager decided have them peeled and packaged rather than throw them out.
They sell corm like this at my local grocery store. I will admit, it is a lot harder to husk an ear of corn than it is to peel a banana, especially when you are driving, talking on the phone, watching a youtube video, drinking a coffee and paying a toll all at the same time!
