I just went to KMart tonight to see if they had anything new and the shelves were bare so I asked a young kid to go in the back and se if anything was thre. Well to my suprise he came out with the Take Flight case and Roger. So I picked up all of them including Roger ($22). He is awesome!

I think the turboloft plane would look so much better if it didn’t have that remote control thing on the bottom.

When you click the link this listing says the List Price is $42.99, but Amazon doesn’t set the prices, it’s the Resellers who do.

  • collectormom says:

Is $27.99 the actual retail price on this? I noticed Amazon doesn’t always have the best price, especially for toys

(MET: Well, it was yesterday 🙂 ).

Don’t overlook the fact that that $28 price includes sales tax and Amazon’s free shipping option.

I’ve used several otherwise “not to be found” plastic characters in my Cars and Cars2 displays; Trev from a Geotrax set, Acer’s camera surgically removed from a DisneyStore set, “Frightened” McQueen with tractors from that playset, and the Spy Train from the Secret Agents playset. They all fit INSIDE my wall cabinets (which are only about 5-1/4 inches deep) and, I feel, add to rather than detract from the whole display.

Roger, because of his size and wingspan will require a little creativity to display, but there IS a place for plastic if only as an enhancement! I applaud other take fivers who have utilized plastic parts and characters from playsets; the one from the Monster Truck Wrestling playset immediately comes to mind!

Collect what you like! Make it yours!
