Since we’re on the topic of technology, can anyone tell me how to convert a Quicktime video to Windows Media. I used to be able to do that with Real Player, but now it says something like “File Parsing Error, codecs needed are not found”. Do I need to pay to upgrade to Real Player 15 or whatever it’s called?

(MET: You want AVI or WMV? If it’s AVI, you should be able to use a free online converter like Zamar unless it’s a full length movie, then you probably want to spring for converter software. Though try downloading VLC first – they have a free exporter built in also …).
