Went to movies this weekend see Kung Fu Panda 2,great movie. Has anyone seen the giant cardboard cut out for cars 2. It has the three countries where they race. I thought it was posted somewhere on this site, but i could not find it. While we were looking at it my son said dad look its pizza planet truck! Without really looking at where he was pointing, I said no that’s not him he’s not in this movie. But when i looked, it was him. At least it looked like him. I don’t know how he saw it? If I remember right he’s on the middle poster where they are in Great Britian. Look at the top where the road makes a loop, he’s in there. He’s small so you have to look very good. Let me know if any one else has seen this and are there more hidden cars?
OH I want these, but our theatre doesn’t do things like this. Tiny town.
I’m also pretty much stuck in the house except for dr appts. I have 2 concrete stairs front and back and its hard to scoot off of them to the waiting wheelchair.
I can’t wait to bare weight on the right side and go CARS hunting.
My daughter did find me really cool cups at walgreens the other day for .99 each they are super fun.
We got Mater and Finn cup toppers at our Cineplex theatre. We will have to go back for LM. There was also a Kinder Egg which 1 out of 3 will contain a Cars 2 toy. We got Raoul and some stupid giraffe!?!
(MET: We’re not allowed Kinder chocolates in the US – apparently we’ll mistake a giraffe in plastic inside a hollow egg as filling and eat it).
I miss kindereggs and smarties.

How big (or small) are the cup toppers in comparison to the Mattel diecasts? Anybody got a pic of them side-by-side?
What theater are these cups found at? AMC? Cinemark? Harkins? Just trying to find out so I can make sure to get there FAST!

There’s a lot of Cars 2 vehicles shown, most already having been seen or mentioned in previous posts but there were a few others I still haven’t yet heard anything about such as FINN MCMISSILE SECURITY GUARD & SAL MACHIANI! I’ve seen Sal in Disney Stores AKA Ape but not in 1:55. I also saw Finn McMissile security guard in a movie trailer recently but didn’t know he would be in a package. Thought y’all might want to know & have a look.

They gave cards at the movie (KP2) that you scan at TRU and 3 in 4 get you $5 off your next purchase of selected cars 2 toys (min $20 purchase) And the other lucky 25% get to go home with a toy of some sort…

They ALSO hand out a secret agent booklet/passport that each child… me… has to go through the store to find certain check points that give you a clue to solving the eight mysteries… lame but looked cool…
I found a NEW Lightning McQuee at TRU tonight!!! On a peg I saw a 2-pack which included a new variant I have yet to hear about named Lightning McQueen w/ TRAVEL WHEELS packaged w/ Race Team Fillmore! It says “exclusive” on the packaging but does not have the typical TRU sticker as true TRU exclusives usually do which makes me think it’s like MET pointed out a few weeks ago that “exclusive” can mean a lot of different things. In Australia there are little “Cars 2” booklets available at the movies, with character bios, colour in activity and it folds out into a nice poster.
I want those cups! And that popcorn bucket looks cool! I think they went to see “Kung Fu Panda 2” I think when they got those?
