bought all the cars 2 cars at walmart that I found but didn’t find tissues, or sliders or operation and man I’d love that operation game. I did see trouble and connect 4 but it will have to wait.

Been out of work and away from here for 2 months due to the carwreck I was a passenger in.

Only got home saturday the 28th, still in a wheelchair but on the way home I convinced them to go to walmart for groceries and I made a tiny $325 detour to the cars dept LOL.

(MET: Glad you’re back – hope your recovery is going well).

I plan on asking my TRU if I can keep the big display thing w/Raoul, Shu, etc. after they’re done with it. There was a small display at my Sears and the woman there told me in 2 months I can check back and maybe they’ll give that to me.

Don’t hold your breath on getting the TRU display. I’ve asked about 2 or 3 different displays, including the Iron Man 2 setup, plus I’ve already asked about the Cars 2 display.

Same “corporate” answer every time: “Our agreements with the film companies means that those displays must be destroyed when the display is taken down.”

Who knows, you might get really lucky, but it never works with our TRU stores.

2 different TRU’s today and no case E. Maybe next week we will see it out here. Hopefully with Deluxe Case C too. Maybe Mater’s Secret Mission case B at Walmart also.

I wish they made that Burn Rubber shirt in my size 🙁

  • John in Missouri says:

The board game “Sorry! Sliders” is the opposite of what happens to you at White Castle — “Sliders, Sorry!”.

    ONLY 28 DAYS AWAY!!!

    • Tom says:

That is funny, John! Where I live we have no White Castles or Krystals, although I grew up with White Castle. I was just hankering for some this AM. All the Applebee’s type places that sell so-called sliders are totally missing the point.

    • Tom says:

I agree with Jeff that the displays look awesome and it is a shame they all get destroyed. Also, nice score. Also agree with Bobbyjack that TRU needs to get the new cases to compliment the fine-looking display. The Legos do look really “neat”, I guess it’s good my son isn’t into them yet or I would be broke as a joke!

“Belly Bombers” is the nickname for Krystal burgers, and they can be like little bombs after the digestion process begins.

  • jestrjef says:

This was GREAT to see! The display boards are AWESOME!!!! I wish TRU did not crush them … I wish they would let you claim them … or buy them … or raffle them … or SOMETHING aside from letting them hit the shredder. 🙁

As posted yesterday in the Shopping Report, I found Trunkov and Miles there yesterday!!! 😀

  • bobbyjack says:

Need singles case E and deluxe case C! Singles A-D and Deluxe A and B don’t do us much good.
