Come for a USA Visit: No Smuggling Kinder Surprises!

Please come for a visit, come for the nearly first in the world showing of CARS 2 … bring us some Jamon Serrano ham but whatever you do, do not bring chocolates infested with a capsule containing a toy …

We posted on this a few weeks ago but I did not realize the capsule is the size of a chicken egg … I thought the toy was just dropped inside a hollow egg and then “sealed.” That I could see an unsuspecting person accidentally biting a hollow egg and swallowing a tiny Mater. But the object is in a capsule! How do you miss the capsule?

Do people in Europe often swallow this capsule? Do people often take a big HAWMP and bit into a plastic capsule – “Ooops, I keep forgetting! That darn Kinder Surprise! I am surprised once again!”

By this measure, we should ban prizes in cereal because I have on more than one occasion found my toy floating in my bowl after I pour my milk in …

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an import alert for Kinder Eggs, because they are a confectionery product with a non-nutritive object imbedded in it”

I also want to point if “non-nutritive” is actually a standard, how does that explain the “cream” in Twinkies? Or gum balls in ice cream?

Can I sue the seedless orange with a seed!

So, remember, we don’t want to eat your giant imported capsules by mistake as we might mistake it for a mini twinkie … but come to America, free hugs! But we might taze you first!

Last year, CBP officers discovered more than 25,000 of these banned chocolate eggs. More than 2,000 separate seizures were made of this product.

Via Customs Border & Protection ALERT.
