Has Lightning McQueen been released as Kmart rubber tires car ??? It’s marked on the Kmart rubber tire list.

Looks like the list is missing the View Zeen Lightyear launcher as well. Or do I just not se it under the T5 logo?

These 4-packs were a great way for a late-bloomer like me to collect the racers, aside from all of the extra McQueens I ended up with. Too bad we never saw the pack with Easy Idle/Shiny Wax. Easy Idle (plastic or rubber tire) was hard to get at a reasonable price for a while, so I was really looking forward to that pack. Luckily the re-emergence of Easy Idle with Disposable Launcher(tm) helped me out of that jam. I won’t need to consider these again until Cars2 cars tempt me.
You can get Clutch Aid in the Target 9 pack. It’s something small but you may want to check it off on the multi-pack category.

I suppose that is some kind of improvement; usually it’s a 4-pack with 3 cars I already have and only one I don’t. At least this way I can simply walk on by…
What your short on regular McQueens? Surprised they didn’t add some type of tampo or something on Lightning thereby making this set the only way to get the slight variant McQueen. Which of course would prompt many collectors to buy the set. Furthering enabling and encouraging Mattel to make more sets with slight variants.
Notice how they rerelease the plastic tire Transberry in this set before they release the launcher though. Anything is worth a try. Boy have they been milking these 36 racers for so long now but thank you for the list Met. The lists are helpful to many.
Well at least we are going to February now. Soon the Spring and lots of cool Cars. I hope the Cars 2 aisle looks like the Toy Story 3 aisles looked this year.

How could it be anything but Sparemint? “Sparemint” = “spearmint,” which fits with the minty theme of the logo. “Spare-O-Mint” sounds like “sparrowmint,” which makes no sense; the logo’s not bird-themed. Or pirate-themed (though that would make a cool custom!).

Yep, I’ve always said that “spearmint” begat “Sparemint”, and “tachometer” begat “Tach-O-Mint”. The opposites would be “spear-o-mint” and “tachmeter”.
I’m on the Sparemint bandwagon too.
Never liked Spare-O-Mint
Still wish they would put 4 new cars in each of these so you could make one long straightaway with all the racers. Would look pretty sweet lined up against the wall.
I always looked at Spare O Mint as the O being a spare tire, Spare O mint also being white tires as in the first days of cars that had white rubber tires, the white mint, play on words

I made my own 4 packs several months ago… I finished my 9th and final one in late November when I got in a custom Shopluckey Apple and an Easy Idle Lightyear Launcher from a friend in Canada… I have Transberry Juice, Spare Mint, Fiber Fuel, and View Zeen in one – I kept the Spare Mint and Fiber Fuel in the location they were in when I found it at Target.
The only new Cars 4-pack I’ll buy is one that includes an Apple, and since that’s not going to happen, I’ll be content with what I’ve got… It is about time though that they included only 1 pegwarmer (McQueen/King/Chick/Leakless).
Now when they repeat this nonsense with Cars 2, and I go through this all again, which I will, then I’ll buy more multi-packs.
11 launchers still not made in any form either. Are there plans on finishing anything?
Sidewall Shine and Clutch Aid should have a interstate sign on the box set/multipacks category. (9 pack Speedway Set)

Bill surely you jest. You are asking for a collector friendly and logical distribution method from Mattel. We should all know better by now.
With Mattel just expect lousy distribution like always repeats you don’t want in a set, Great releases like Bessie in short supply, store exclusives that many collectors don’t live near and all kinds of other frustrating release procedures that make it so difficult to collect them all.
We absolutely love these cars and I am willing to overpay(to a point) and put in the time and energy to try and collect them all. However it’s just getting worse.
We just want to have something to collect without jumping through hoops.
