Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Sasquatch, Nessie, & New Haulers – Legend or Real?
Some of you youngsters might not believe it but once upon a time, a hairy beast moved through the woods riding on a giant dinosaur to deliver Mattel Haulers … or in other words, Harry, the hirsute UPS guy who now drives a hydrogen truck (versus the gasoline belcher of yore) delivered haulers on a regular basis – sometimes a new one once a month!
Well, believe it or not, the story is that an actual shipment of haulers will arrive in January.
The word is that Chet & Paul & Mack will actually make it (back) to our shores …
Well, hopefully soon but maybe after the Christmas reset?

Not sure if anyone has a Kohls near them, but they have had Vinyl Toupee and Shifty Drug Haulers for some time now, where i have never seen them anywhere else. You pay a little more for them, but they do have them

Check sellers feedback. Lots of his Cars sales are going to Russians. A friend recently sold a Lego Tow truck for 400.00 to a Russian as well about 13 thousand Rubles.

It’s not bragging when you’re from Canada and get NO new cars EVER! This is the least we get up here…and I actually didn’t have to pay $24.99 for him either!

If Mattel had actually shipped the haulers in 2009 that they made in 2009 this would not be an issue.

I am looking forward to adding Chet to my collection… I received Paul Valdez from a great UK friend several months ago – wasn’t going to open it but my grandson saw it and asked me to open it… and I couldn’t tell him no…
They’d sell more haulers if they’d release them… If I remember, I got Bumper Save, Vinyl Toupee, and Shifty Drug this spring, and there’s been no new haulers released in the US since… Does Shiny Wax actually exist in more than an ad photo?
And I agree, BMW… after the Kmart 5 pre-sale fiasco, I won’t order anything from their website until the KM6 cases go on sale… Kmart, Target, and Toys R Us are all guilty of putting Cars products on their website that they do NOT have available for sale.
I can reinforce that because yesterday I received my 5-pack Radiator Spring set from TRU. The website was showing Lizzie in the set and guess what???? You’re right there were no Lizzie not even any other shown. Instead I got Sheriff with the 4 tunerz. During the transit of my pacakge TRU’s website have replaced the picture who reflect now what I received… But too late I got fooled… again! 🙁 This package will go back straitgh to my closest TRU store and I will never ever order on line such product period.
I also got the wrong item. I called the Toys R Us Customer Service line. A very nice representative did a lot of research for me and finally determined that the old picture had been on the website when I ordered. She tried to find a pack with Lizze in it but, of course, could not. She sent me a mailing label so that I could return the Tuners pack and get my refund and shipping costs back. I am very impressed with Toys R Us.com.
I received the 5 pack with Sheriff and the 4 Tunerz… I think it will go back, although I may open it to see if Boost has been corrected and give the Cars to my grandchildren.
I see a major problem problem being stores using the same item number for multiple Cars, as opposed to using the UPC which is a unique identifier. Other problems are various departments in an organization not communicating properly with each other, stores with problems with their ordering & fulfillment systems, and employees who may not care about what they’re doing.

Chet Boxkaar has been on Kmart’s website for over a month.
Not willing to risk the time and trouble of ordering it. Since I know the outcome in advance.
I did take the time , way back when…. and they (K-Mart) took my money… and I received a msg that it was being shipped! and I waited, and I waited, and almost YEARS LATER……. I received (2) Gray Haulers, (2) Chick Hicks Haulers, and (2) McQueen Haulers. After making a Phone call, I was told to just take them to my nearest BIG-K to get my REFUND. However, my friendly Big-K only wanted to give me $9.95 each as they were having a SALE on the ones I had! NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN.

We have 11 gils, 9 macks, 4 nitroades and 5 mood springs at our walmart. The only ones that are selling are mack and gil.
It will be great to see some new haulers on the shelf 🙂
Instead of Mack, it would have been nice to have Shiny Wax or one of the other race car haulers in this case.
These are probably all out, but everyone keeps overlooking them since they are stocked in the Shrinky Dinks aisle. Maybe Cars 2 will bring us true-to-scale Haulers.
