i just seen on walmart 7 shorts come with toy story 3 and it said tokyo mater on it , check it out!
Funny, my son hates all toons. Simply hates them. When I start one, he screams TURN IT OFF! I don’t know what the deal is.
How old is he? If he’s preschool-age, it could be that he finds them to be a bit scary, since LMQ gets “hurt” in pretty much every one of them. He gets burnt, strapped to a rocket, chased by bulldozers, yelling “AAAAAAH!” and “ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!” Maybe that’s not funny to him, it means Lightning is hurt or scared. Just a thought…
Or maybe it’s Lightning’s weird voice. Like he went through reverse-puberty between the the time the movie ended and the Toons began.
“Reverse-Puberty…” Isn’t that what Justin Bieber went through?? Lol just something to make ya giggle.
I like seeing LMQ getting hurt by something one way or another. I wish that big Monster-Thing would have stompted his Wrecking Ball right on top of Lightning during Wrestlin’ Mater. It would have made a good car, “Smashed McQueen.” I would have bought 3! (Was Wrestlin’ Mater the name of the short because I never really knew.)
A kid that hates Cars Toons? ROFL Kids love Cars Toons and your kid hates them. Really? That’s like saying a brainless teenager with no sense of humor hated all the Toy Story movies.

My kids giggled at 3 or 4 different things, making me giggle too. I wish I had never watched that shaky video of the small computer screen on YouTube, as this was actually a LOT better than I thought it was.
One thing I have to wonder about the Heavy Metal Mater 4-pack though: how could they not include the drummer? He is the Guy Patterson of Mater’s band!! I hope he is released as a Mega Size offering. That would be a killer drumset!

John was the same way Julia. Made us watch it three times. I thought it was cute and fun. Dad gum dad gum.
My 9 year old daughter even was laughing.
I see a HMM with wings in our future and I agree we have to get the drumset. That would complete the band.
I think we have pretty much enjoyed all the shorts. I just wish they were a little longer but all have been well done and it’s good to see our favorite characters in new roles.
I just never expected so many releases from the shorts. I think we are up to about 100 already so I can’t imagine how many different characters and variations will be released when it’s all said and done, if that even does happen.
Because of the toons I now have to build a completely new Cars world. The collection has out grown it original location for the third time, so it’s time to set up a whole new area with lots of room for expansion. After 1000 it’s going to be tough though. Might have to build a cars wing on the house. Maybe I will tell my wife we have to buy a bigger house so that we have a Cars den. I’m sure that will go over well.
Jack – When you present your wife with the “we need a bigger house” … do not say it is for a CARS den, but yet a larger master bedroom for her to relax, with LOTS of closet space (for her shoes), and a huge kitchen (just not so she can cook in it), because the kitchen is the place where the family gathers most often and you want the family to spend alot of quality time together — THEN, I magine the bigger house will go over just perfectly :o)

Guy Patterson, huh? That Thing You Do!? Yeah, love the pitties as musicians, and I would have a hard time passing on the proposed mega-drumset pitty release. I would actually succumb to the new, improved pricing should Mattel do a “Mater and The Gas Caps” full band pack! For anyone out there without a DVR set up, this short and MTM are up and running on the official Disney Cars site.
I would also add the Producer, the Sound Engineer, and the Sound Board.
Besides the slight variations of eyes or expressions( we are not collecting those, just the different characters of the shorts) you are much better off getting the singles with the exception of the fist 3 pack where we got three new ones.
To buy a 3 pack with only 2 new ones or sometimes even 1 new one costs a lot more than just getting the singles.
I dont want to keep buying Frightening or other repeats in the three packs.
I have received word within a week or two case p deluxe toons will be available with Rasta Mater and Chuy. So lots of new ones still coming.

Here is a question; how many more Tall Tales cartoons are there scheduled to be released?
(MET: Well, there are definitely 2 on the DVD so it looks like 9 total up to the end of 2010. Then after, there seems to be at least 3 stories floating out there that seem to be announced in one form or another – a baseball one, a space one and a pirate one so one or more might air in the Q1 before the movie or maybe they are the short in front of CARS2).
I have to say this is not one of my favourites. Seems very corny and weak.
Kids seem to love it though so what does Dad know?!
It aired about 10 days ago in the UK.
I am asking for the Blu-ray for one of my birthday presents… I may not be able to wait until then to get it… Cars Blu-ray titles… collect them all!
Finally! I get to watch this one! I have Disney Channel and Phineas and Ferb is hilarious and so is their new cartoon Fish Hooks!

If anyone wants to see it, lemme know… Bea Stays in the Picture is on their website but you should have seen it bc of Heavy Metal Mater being on right after it. You know when there is going to be a Cars Toons Episode on Disney Channel when they say, “Toy Story 3 Action Links Stunt Sets are a proud sponsor of Disney Channel.” or that same thing but with Cars Color Changers.

the show has been on Disney XD a bunch of times because I found it on YouTube. They got it from Disney XD. Its a mystery why they didnt show it on Disney Channel until last night, and RIGHT AFTER FISH HOOKS!!! WOOT WOOT!!
