Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Monster Truck Mater Visual Check List + Ring Playset

Not out at retail yet – coming soon …

Short airs Friday, July 30, 2010 … CHECK YOUR TV provider feed – this is the EASTERN US time … yours might vary by more than just your timezone!

And the checklist.

The TRU 3-pack exclusives look to be:

0-27084-93881-4

0-27084-93882-1

0-27084-93883-8

I do not know if the three-packs will contain a different version (different expression) variant?

Scale? Yes, they are all “in-scale” to the regular 1:55 CARS (in theory) … even if they are jacked up and considered megasize-deluxe … examples … Dr. Feelbad is slightly shorter than the Rescue Squad Ambulance.

Here’s regular McQueen in with the wrestlers …

The ring is is actually a nice display area …

The middle MTW in the ring actually will rotate at top speed flinging CARS … nice!

Thanks for the nice pics, “Nikko.”

Anyone know where and when the singles of Dr. Feel Bad and Rastacarian are coming? We already have a large sized frightening mcmean, so the TRU 3 packs are an overkill. Monster trucks are working wonders for potty training prizes.

    • Man-I-Fold says:

These two are already out as singles. They have definitely been spotted in the “cube” (self-contained Cars shelving unit on a pallet) at Toys R Us around the US within the last week.

  • CIRIPANDEL says:

Paddy ‘O and Captain Collision are my favorites! Please make them, even if that means to stop making wrestling arena! I don’t mean I don’t like the wrestling arena, but I really want Paddy ‘O and Captain Collision!

  • Carlos says:

What about Captain Collision? Is Captain Collision on any list? He’s the only one they’re not making, counting Disney Store’s Paddy. Dr. Fell Bad looks like a pegwarmer to me. Please make Captain Collision. Even if it means not making Dr. Feel Bad, altough I would still want Dr. Feel Bad.

  • kdthomas says:

I-Screamer is kinda frightening… looks a whole lot like John Wayne Gacy’s clown outfit -**********************. Google it…

  • Stig McQueen says:

It’s not just the ambulance “box” that’s different from the Rescue Squad Ambulance; it’s a whole new casting. If you compare the door cutlines and the side window on Dr. Feelbad and the Ambulance, the cab is completely different! Gotta wonder why Mattel would spend $$$ on brand new tooling when they already had a perfectly usable ambulance cab in production…

(MET: Maybe they used the plastic one’s mold?)

  • Carlos says:

Just wondering, any word on how much will these 3 packs cost? I think they’ll be $20. And, why are nearly all these new Maters, like beanie hat, cone teeth, and others megasize. He ain’t no megasize, he should be regular.

  • Steve AKA: Poppa says:

I saw a bunch of monster trucks at Target on Union Avenue, Tacoma, WA this morning. Also, plenty of Final Lap Jaime, Johnny, etc as well as Bumper Save Team Sets.

  • BrianD says:

Any idea when these might hit the stores?

  • lou says:

some target reset. . . a bunch of mater greater & rescue squad 4 packs that were released a year ago. way to go mattel and target, no wonder you can’t sell more toys.

  • slicepie says:

I get the whole “Luchador” theme they’re trying to convey with the goofy masks and such, but I much would have rather seen mainline cars jacked up on monster truck bodies like some of the customs seen in the past…

    …just like as shown here.

  • Kevin says:

They still need to make: The SUV, The Cement Truck, The announcers, Mia & Tia and the Ice Creamer’s fan. Was there anyone else?

  • rpag says:

Met, are the ones in the ring with a regular McQueen the diecast version or the plastic version offered right now at TRU?

(MET: Yes, the plastic one comes with the playset – NOT photoed. Photos are ALL of the metal diecasts).

  • jestrjef says:

My son and I are really looking forward to these! They looked awesome in person at the CON …. I wanted to punch Matty in the head, break open the case and run away with all of them! muhuhahahahaha 😈

    • MiaSenorita says:

eeehhhh. . . I’ve seen better. . Ahhh heck, who am I kidding??? These trucks are awesome!!! What is not kid friendly about these guys??? I can’t imagine they will last long on the shelves! Isn’t there a cement truck one coming out?

Love the toons, so much fun. . . and I have never been a diehard cannon girl anyway 😉 These are cannon to the Toons! hehehe

    • CIRIPANDEL says:

      LOL! YOU’RE EVIL!

  • lou says:

    we need the cement mixer.

  • PDIDDY55 says:

So is the Ice Cream dude named Ice Creamer or I Screamer? The picture might just be a proto type with an old name on it.

(MET: I Screamer is the official name now).

  • Hostile Takeover Banker says:

Hmmm still debating on these. I guess I need to find them first.

  • 5oclockshadow says:
