The sale ends tomorrow. Last time I was at Target, lenticulars were taking up nearly every cars peg, and some fell on the shelves. Also, there were lots of Gils and other haulers. I wonder what’ll happen after the sale ends.
Sale isn’t happening here in Abilene TX.
My Wal-Mart has a TV looping the Cars movie right next to the Hotwheels and Cars merch isle. It still doesn’t help. They had every car except the Chase Van. Figured I would get him in at least lenticular form…guess not.

I stopped into my closest Target today and these items were ALL marked on sale! Yippie!!! Unfortunately, the SAME shelf warmers that didn’t sell two weeks ago . . . when they were on sale LAST TIME . . . are STILL there! 🙁

10 team sets (including two Octane Gain)
12 Chief and Pitty sets
7 View Zeen Racing 4 Packs (same ones they have had for weeks)
1 Gasprin and Fiber Fuel 4 pack (all others sold)
20 Haulers including the new Night Skyline ones with Mack,Gray, and no Pink haulers, all gone. They put out 3 cases of the new blue background ones. Case N with Sidewall Shine and P. so with all the repeats in the case N sitting, even with the sale it is going to be a long time to clear the shelves.
(MET: We gotta get more kids born and turning 2-years old … come on people, put down the 529 forms and get to work buying Haulers! … Or buy up everything, drive to the next Targets, return them to even out their distribution and then point out to your Target the shelves are empty).
Good! Hopefully the shelves will clear. And, if they don’t, maybe the lenticulars will end, but don’t get your hopes up too high. Also, the haulers and hauler, racer, and price cut can clear shelves to bring in new and rare ones. Now all we need are team crew chief and 3 pitty sets to be clearanced to make way for Octane Gain and other new ones.
Well, I found out 1 thing today…..not every store is participating.
Out of 2 stores in our area, 1 DOES have the price drops in effect, 1 DOES NOT. I even checked at the service desk…..the lower prices are not in that stores system. Go figure. 🙁

actually i think this is encouraging news that TGT is trying to clear the shelves for new merchandise (new team sets, pit crews, haulers, etc.? ) remember not every buyer of CARS are nuts like us, there are plenty of people out there just buying a toy for a birthday, holiday, etc., so they see a sale tag, they buy, and us nuts get new CARS in a little while? just a theory, but hey a guy can dream can’t he?
Sale prices won’t help them move merch that everyone already owns…
We won’t see anymore new haulers and/or cars till this sale is over…who are they kidding???

Be prepared for an incorrect shelf tag on the $9.99 haulers, it describes it as a 4 pack including the race car.
These price cut are on and off in here (Arkansas) for several weeks now… it doesn’t “MATER” the shelves are still full of same stuff we don’t want. Target are the “KING” of exclusives but they are just not there. Everytime I walked in there and I do not find anything new, my face is getting “RED”, I must see a “DOC” if not it may be my “FINAL LAP”

This sale has hit Chicagoland, definitely at the Target in Glenview on Willow. It makes the View Zeen pack almost worth it… no, can’t do it.
I didn’t get the chance to head out of town over the weekend to go to Target… maybe this weekend… or I might take a day off Friday… Thanks for the info…
