What case was Props McGee in?

I have a 2 1/2 year old who is totally into Cars. The worst part is that he knows which ones he doesn’t have. Yesterday we were at Target and he saw Tar Lightning. Trying to convince him that he doesn’t need it or already has it is a chore. He won. lol.
Seriously, all toy companies milk it. If you don’t think so, go down the Star Wars aisles. I’m a collector of SW and its harder to figure out what I don’t have versus what he doesn’t have in Cars. My favorite is that both change packaging about every 2 years.
Mattel should bring back some of the ones that are harder to find like Lizzie, Damaged King, etc.
yeah, i read over on rebelscum what the new SW packaging will look like, and ive only just started seeing the current white packaging over here!

(MET: Yea, unfortunately, if I don’t watermark part of the car, when I tried to do it off to the side, certain people who sell on a certain internet website will just blur it out and use it – that’s why i can’t give you a checklist in Excel – they just turn around and sell it on that site).
I was thinking the same thing. At least lighten up the logo so we can actually see the whole picture so it’s a watermark. I’m actually surprised Disney hasn’t come after him for using the Mater picture in the top banner.

I have to agree with you guys. This is getting very old and boring. I decided to just stick with the regular line. No more lenticular, color changers, mater tales and story tellers. Im a big fan of the ACTUAL movie and i wish mattel would concentrate more on the ACTUAL movie characters. Wheres the RV guys, the clown cars and so on. Im glad that there still making haulers and pittys. My family and myself have decided now to collecting disney vinylmations instead of spending more money on these ridiculously repetitive cars. Dont get me wrong ill still collect SOME of the cars but im not spending as much money and time as before. CARS 2 please have an earlier release.

I don’t bother with the MTT singles when the boxed sets are available. Normally, I’d do the “1 to open, 1 to keep MOC”, but with the MTT line it just gets too expensive for something not even related to the movie.
What was one of the “hottest” toys for Christmas? Zhu Zhu Pets. What did I find a pile of in the clearance aisle at WM today? Zhu Zhu Pets. Sheesh, we are a persnickety bunch aren’t we. And now on to the next big thing…
In early December I found Soaked Lightning McQueen in the Car Toons Series at Wal-Mart. They had a bunch and I assumed these would be found everywhere like the Burnt ones so I only got one. Since then I have yet to see another store carry them. Has anyone else seen them?
Bought them in early December, kept a couple of extras, and I still see them at most Walmarts.
Toys r Us had them here in Illinois.
Our Target has bunches of Cars Toons — except zero Mega Size Cars Toons – ugh.

Good to see I’m not the only one a little dissapointed. I don’t mind having a lot of variety and options. I actually think they are all cool…if I could afford them all.
The main problem is that I would rather have the Final Lap and main movie characters be more abundant. The stores will order these, they’ll sit on the shelfs (how many Nurse Kori’s and Orderly Pittys at your store?) and they won’t order the Final Lap/Skyline series 🙁 Putting these out will definately make them sit on the pegs if they over order again…then keep in mind they have two more sets to come out (El Materdor / Heavy Metal Mater). So these will postpone those probably until late this year or early next year. 🙁 I will definately get the bulldozer! 🙂
Since we are a small town with only Wal-Mart these fly off the shelfs. So far only burnt mcqueen is hanging around. I even found 11 burnt and soaked in one day back in October, those all found homes with take5ers.
The peg warmers here are the first released lenticulars and color changers.
Interesting…the Color Changers are actually selling here in Nor Cal. More of a hit with moms/kids then collectors I’m sure.
This is getting old. Mattel needs to concentrate on the movie instead of a couple cartoons. These Car Toons are peg warmers all over around here. Lenticulars also!!

It gets confusing, they are all the same color scheme. When I see them on the pegs, its ah, do I have that one? Well not the airplane of course, but the maters and the mcqueens.
But I do want the Mcqueen no buck teeth and flames version, as its the coolest one.
Yeah man!!! Too much to ask you, Dude-Met-Dude to make a huge and winding list of all the Cars out there… Let’s get Matty to do it!!! He seems to have a lot of unused time on his hands!

Mattel is clearly milking it…way too many variations of the same stuff. This is getting old.
At this rate Mattel may release more castings annually for cars than it does for Hot Wheels. Maybe Pixar can produce another short entitled, “Mater and the Goose that killed the golden egg!”
OH MY GOD…Do you know how manny different color eggs it will make, plus the small plastic ones and the larger Big ones and the Mega size ones, and then just when we all figured it was over with… Disney/Pixar/China stars over with “CRACKED GOLDEN EGGS” of course some will be cracked differently!!!!
