Met if you look in the up movie inserts it says you can go online to DisneyUpgrade2Blu.com and get a coupon for CARS and it shows the gift pack. On the website it says coming soon so keep an eye out everyone.

As I have no Target or Best Buy within 45 miles, I went to the Meijer store (Richmond, IN) with the Target ad. The display stand had 2 of the Cars Collector sets marked on sale for $32.99 (regular price: $39.99). I took one to a register and was told I had to leave that part of the ad to get the price match… I did, and it scanned at $26.99 – they’d already put the price match in the system.
Now I have to get a blu-ray player to take advantage of the blu-ray… I’m leaning towards the 250 GB PS3 – hoping I get it for Christmas.

Our Target had the Up with Adventure Journal for 19.99 as well, and the 10 off coupon from Disney made it a cool 9.99, but if you get Monsters Inc Blue Ray 4 pack as well and use the 8 dollar off coupon on line, you can also use Targets coupon for buying both at the same time for another 10 off. The 10 off coupon is also attached to the front of the Monster’s 4 pack Blu Ray set.
so I got both as mentioned above for 11.89 with tax.
I think that target’s doing that to price match WalMart because I bought my UP blu ray pack there for 19.96 with the 10 dollar coupon making it 9.96 plus tax

Went to all the usuals on this and they all have in stock a plenty, however I wasnt able to find one Gold Crusin that wasnt somehow dinged or scrathed on the side of the car thats showing???????????? many of them were scratched in or about the same spot????
Am I correct that you have to “register” for one of the Disney cards to get the $8.00 offer on Monsters Inc.?
If not, am I missing a step in the procedure?
LOL…there are a couple of Ebay listings selling the Gold LM for $20+ saying it is sold out everywhere and very hard to find…(unless of course, you open the sunday paper or browse the internet)

I was so excited this morning to buy the “Up” DVD with the special Journal for my kids. Well I just opened up the package and realized it was a Blu-Ray! So I just ran to the nearby grocery store and bought the “normal” version.
(MET: Not idiot – proud new BR Player owner to come 🙂 ).
At least now you have an excuse to buy a Blu-Ray player. You won’t regret it, trust me.
Especially with the $10.00 coupon for the Blu-Ray version(see link above)!
Our Target had the BluRay of “UP” priced at $19.99 BEFORE the $10.00 coupon was applied…….ended up $10.00 plus tax.
The JOURNAL is a very cool “extra”, and only offered through Target, if I’m correct.

Just opened the pack and McQueen had a chip over rear tire that they touched up with gold (looks like crap and another chip on front bumper they didn’t even bother with. That one is going back. 🙁

I guess I should open mine too. I had a problem finding one that looked OK but who knows what the other side looks like.
From my local searching I have found that almost all stores only received 3 of the Cars Blu-Ray/DVD Double Packs. Got a rain check at Target and it had the following disclaimer on it:
This is a limited supply item and stock may not be replenished
…basically meaning that they may not get any more than the original shipment so get them now if you can.
Saw the same thing tonight at my Target. Best Buy had 4 in stock if it helps you.
I seemed to find 4 at each Walmart and each Target. Best Buy was the exception – between the stand by the front of the store and 2 other locations in the store, they must have had 12-16 sets.
Anyone else a little disappointed at the Ransburg Lightning after seeing it in person?
How about the Chase Ransburg Darrell? Not as “chrome-like” as I’d hoped.
I think all 3 (McQueen, Mater, and Darrell) look awesome!!
By the way, I’m referring to this Lightning as “Gold-Ray McQueen”.
I guess I was spoiled by RSM Mater in the Ransburg, as well as the fantastic paint on Radiator Springs McQueen! Maybe it’s the lack of depth that you run into with silvers and golds.

I did the price match at Target using the Best Buy ad. With the manufacturers coupons 10 off for up and 8 off for Monsters Inc, plus the $10 Target coupon for buying both movies at once and the price matching of Monsters Inc to 18.99, and up for 19.99 less $10 I ended up saving 51.00 total with $28.00 in coupons.
9.99 Up 19.99 – 10.00 coupon
10.99 – Monsters (18.99 price match less 8.00) Disney manufacturer coupon for Monsters reduced from 26.99
subtotal: 20.98 then I got another $10 off with the Target on line coupon for buying both.
I ended up paying 11.89 for both. It was the best deal of the day.
And got the 4 pack of Up with the Adventure Journal.
Saw the Cars for 22.99 at Target but got those coming from Amazon.

I went to 2 Targets. Both had 3 packs each. I had a hard time finding a gold McQueen without any defects. Since you can only see one side, I’m hoping the back side is OK. Anyone else have a problem finding a McQueen without a very noticeable defect?
I ran into the same thing(1 out of 3 was acceptable), almost decided to pass, might still return it.
Not the impressive finish I’d expect for a collectible.

Used the $10 off coupon but the register gave me additional discounts of $2 off Up and $4 off Monsters
Plus they had the ROR two packs of Rusty and Dusty and red with Stanley that rang up as $3.49!!!

I didn’t see this Cars release at Wal-Mart, but my Target had them on display in Electronics. The price sticker on the shelf said $36.99 (GASP!), but the faithful scanner said $26.99 (PHEW!).
Both Wal-Mart and Target have the “Up!” Deluxe DVD + Digital Copy for $24.99, but I went with Target’s $34.99 copy of “Up!” that has the special 150-page Journal like in the movie. But when I got to the Cashier, it rang up for $26.99 as well, so I figure I got the Journal for only $2.00 more than the Deluxe DVD + Digital Copy (NICE!).

We did find that you have to register online first, before the coupon will download and print. Just a little “heads up” if you find the coupon will not print. Some other good coupons on there as well, but remember that some retailers will not accept online coupons.

I was at Target this morning at about 8:50am and they had 3 sets. I was able to get one no problem and the cars appeared to be in very good shape.
I almost grabbed the copy of UP, but decided to pass, but with the $10 off coupon I am going back to pick it UP.

I tried to get the Bestbuy price match when I went but they will only price match if you bring in the entire circular. I printed the Bestbuy offer and they would not match it for me. But when she scanned the disc it came up as $19.99 so I got a better price than if they had price matched for me.

Best Buy seems to have the best deal if you want to buy both Up and Cars. The 4 disc Blue Ray version of Up is $23.99 (includes both digital and regular copies). Cars is $22.99 if you purchase it along with Up. Use the $10 off coupon for Up and you can get both Up and Cars for $36.98.
Best Buy ad lists the promotion: buy Up at $23.99 and receive $10 off the new Cars Blu-ray -OR- the Monsters Inc. Blu-ray so you could pay $22.99 for Cars with Up or $18.99 for Monsters Inc.

I know we’re all looking for the Cars dvd and the Ransburg Cars, but Up was an amazing movie and this was the cheapest deal we could find.
Also Target.com has a really good coupon for $10 off with the purchase of both Blu-Ray movies Up and Monsters Inc. (on the third page of coupons).
Print the coupon before you go shopping, take the Best Buy Ad with you (listed for $23.99), do price match and get all three movies for $75 plus tax. Its a pretty good deal for Pixar fans!
I got both UP and Cars for 42 + Tax. If you wanted you could sell the movies and keep the cars and only be out maybe $10 at the absolute most! Not a bad deal.
If anyone is NOT going to use their Blu-Ray – Disney Movie Codes let me know. I plan on using my points up to dontate some plush toys or other toys to the childrens centers.

2 Walmarts this morning each had 4 copies of it and they will honor the Target advertised price of $26.99.
But the question is will the dvd have the pixar short that ran in theaters before the film – the one about the clouds and the storks? My kids loved that short film almost as much as they loved Up!!

It is available in store at Wal-Mart. I just picked up one. McQueen and Mater look great.
In my opinion, the best place to get the gift pack is TRU. Reference the TRU Big Book, and you can also get a GWP Lenticular Backpack when you purchase $25 or more in Cars products. The Gift pack is included (it just isn’t shown in the Big Book).
Oh Sorry forgot to mention, this week they also give you a $5 giftcard with purchase.
