Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: Team Haulers Leak Less
Arriving faster than expected, Team Hauler Leak Less:
A new motif has been added – WOC: Piston Cup Nights.
Technically, for Team Haulers, we can close the book on “Race O Rama.” as Race O Rama is removed from the mini ticket and on the top right side. Apparently Team Dinoco is already available in the new “Piston Cup Nights” motif.

As of now, there are no other Team Haulers listed other than the 3 previously released and the 4th new release, Leak Less.
But it would not be surprising to see more obvious releases – if the pattern follows of releases based on Piston Cup racers available as ‘regular’ singles, Pitty releases and Haulers … but after RPM, and Nitroade – then that pattern will clearly have to change.

I would be far more likely to collect these if they included a crew chief. Last night we finally finished opening our “parent” collection – the racers, pittys and crew chiefs. We think we’re going to transition this into a version of the Christmas train set, setting up a Dinoco 400 every year around the tree instead. For now, the race cars portion of our collection are strictly for mom & dad, until the little guy gets better at not trying ballistic tests with his cars. Anyway, seeing them lined up, I really wanted crew chiefs!

West Georgia. I saw the box on a cart in the aisle so I caught them before they hit the pegs.
Yeah they are starting to make their way to Wal Marts already. Some local friends scored them last week at one of the three local Wal Marts. I am in South Texas.

You know what…I am actually sad a bit…school starts tuesday and I am gonna miss my kids….but at least I have my Cars to play with ALL day!!!

What is the cost on this guys? I have the Team Rusteze, which is a NICE display, but cannot keep collecting the same thing over and over and over and over and over again….. Mattel has lots of my money already… Now a Team Tach-O-Mint, wood be delicious!!!

What is the logic of releasing something that we’ve already assembled as a set on our own? Most of us already have the Leak Less hauler, pitty, and race car……….bring out something to get us in the stores like, oh, I don’t know………Nitroade Team Set, with a crew chief instead of the racer?
Because there are new buyers/collectors entering the retail market all the time. Collectors are a very small segment of the market. Expect the constant ‘freshening’ of the line as long as Cars is a viable product. Why would Disney dedicate twelve acres to a Cars racetrack and not keep these products in the forefront? Besides, we grandparents like to spend money on grandkids!! 🙂
Very nice… but I don’t have any room to put it. Now if they’d release a set that hasn’t been out yet as a hauler, that would be great.
