Yes, this is part of the Final Lap card design which is NOT supposed to be available at Walmart.
Is a sign just a sign or a sign of what’s coming?
It could mean nothing or it could mean something.
Because this was the original chart but now that TARGET IS selling lenticulars so does it all change or is the sign not so much a sign but just a cardboard sign?

IM so sick of the lousy service
Target treats cases of Cars like they are the Crown Jewels of England. Employees won’t bring out a case until you beg them, and show that the pegs are empty, then they ask what car do you want? You describe what you are looking for, the employee disappears into the stockroom for what seems like hours, and brings out one or two cars, which do not remotely resemble what you described. This is a way to run a retail operation?
I don’t think Mattel is stupid enough to limit the Final Lap Collection to a store chain with such poor stocking practices. Its obvious Target does not depend on Toys to up their bottom line.
It would be nice to know the percentage of Mattel sales in Walmarts versus Targets. We as consumers probably in the US have gotten 90 percent of our Cars from Walmart versus TRU or Target or Kmart, except for minor periods when the promos or collector days were going on.
Anyone ever hear of a Target promo? I did not think so.
Bottom line is business sales, so Target would not be a smart choice. the 5 billion dollar sales of Cars merchandise per Reuters, is big business.
Walmart will get their share of Final Lap. It makes sense.
Amen. Just like the Lenticulars were supposed to be WM only I’d say with the TGT only Final Lap Collection, after they get shipped the first case all bets are off. WM has already realized that the Lenticulars aren’t working out. 😉

Seems to me that even THEY don’t know what the heck is going on . . . I mean, didn’t Walmart STEAL the first supply of Cars Toon singles . . . yet they are showing up where?!?!?!? TRU . . . . wierd man . . . I think it is all a conspiracy man! All misdirection by the evilbayers trying to steal all the good cars for themselves, man . . . .
final lap????? does this mean no more cars,,or should i say this is the last release of new cars.. no more rubber tires from kmart..final means final right?
(MET: Final Lap because when NEXT October rolls around – CARS2 CARS might start to appear or as noted, it might mean nothing because they can have a stopgap release (October 2010 to March 2011) called something like CARS Flashback …).

I hope Wal-Mart carries the Final Lap Collection. The nearest Target to me is 2 hours away. Some People and Pirates may have it worse though. At least I can get Kmart Cars. Thank You Take5er’s for viewing my site.
Its a sign that we all need to monitor Wal Mart for Final Lap as well.
