Hi! I know this is an old post but I have customs Punisher and Venom. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks!
(MET: There was a number of pretty active customizers from 2007 to about 2009? … There was some top notch work … if you search T5 for the older customs posts, you’ll see some great work).

I recently saw a mcqeen with some weird symbols on his hood, not the regular sponser logo. Mabey this will be a new design for the next movie? Or mabey I’ve just missed alot of articles… Mabey Both…
FOR ALL – THE BATMOBILE IS A 1/1 NEVER TO BE REPRODUCED – PRICE ON EBAY WAS OFFERS OF $500.00, it was purchased at $325.00 by myself – it was changed and back to its original state if not better so….. this price scares you please don’t waste my time its not a $3.47 +tax car “KEEPING IT REAL” IT’S ROLLING ART BABY – ROLLING ART AND THIS IS A PICASSO NOT A REMBRANDT !!!!!

Forgot to mention that I also will bring my “Real Red Ransburg MCQ” as a comparison. Nobody gets the strange all Caps lettering on the rear spoiler correct.
Just can’r believe this Car just started as a goodie bag stuffer thanking people for coming to a Mattel brainstorm in Palm Springs. Surreal………

We are on the same page with this mydogcalled zero thief as well. Can’t wait to see your Cars customs as I think this is a market that will be growing and the Hot Wheels guys are going to be jumpnig the fence if they already haven’t.
This die cast line is here to stay and the customs are infinite. Again, wait till you see Traver’s Dustin as it is super sweet!
Thank you… was beginning to wonder. I am one of the biggest advocates of NOT buying “Their Stuff” and having the newest stuff first.
Clearly these people that have “New Factory Releases” before the actual market have them “in hand” or from actual factory pre-sales are no better than the local drug pusher(s) on the street corner. These are “out the back door” theifs and I do not support them.
They should be dealt with and dealt with harshly. HK Suppliers and re sellers alike. They mislead the public. No better than a money counterfeiter. In fact they are worse because the outrageous prices they get. Might as well send them stolen money for them.

If these are from my dog zero yes. In my opinion, but I would love to be wrong.
Can’t remember if the Hong Kong peeps you are comparing with shopluckey are the same as that dog zero guy.
If I’m confused please excuse me. As soon as I hear the words Hong Kong Couple or my dog zero, the word stolen comes to mind.

this would be the ONLY piece of the HK Couple I would be bringing to that Qn A forum because I consider it a work of art. It is one of 4 pieces of theirs I own.
I have 2 gold chromed Mcqueens, the Red Randsberg V3.0 from them but these were bought as CUSTOMS and I knew that when I bought them. Nothing else was ever discussed as anything but a CUSTOM.
The rest are “over the counter” USA purchases, then customized.
I am suprised that it would be questioned otherwise.
Mydogcalledzero is not even a person whom I purchase from and OPENLY discourage people purchasing from them as well.

Alrighty then. The Cars Q&A is being sponsored by take5 so you are good to go on showing your goods which I’m sure everybody would like to see including myself 🙂 It is not a Mattel/Disney sponsored event.
As I said earlier no better way to get rid of peg warmer MQC’s as long as these are NOT STOLEN from the factory as raw zinc bodies/parts used to create these. That would be alot easier than taking apart/stripping a production decorated car and repainting. I will have to look at these very, very carefully because I have ways of knowing………..I’ll bring my magnified model maker glasses with me.
Just check with Met to make sure there will be tables there, should not be a problem.

Not at the Mattel booth. There is no way Mattel would want Cars product displayed at our booth that is not officially Mattel made/produced and don’t blame them.
If this was like a die cast convention where customs are encouraged, like the Hot Wheels shoes, no worries, bring them on. Nice way to keep selling our MCQ’s, blank canvases for the Crazy Customizers. 🙂
Wait till you see the Custom Dustin that Traver’s gonna unviel soon, it is sweet with endless possibilities. I think when the Hot Wheels customizers see how hot this Mattel/Disney/Pixar market is, they will jump the fence 🙂

I’m cool with the Custom MCQ’s as long as ther’re not seemingly being stolen from the factory like everything dog zero has. In my opinion this guy seems very shady with all the new Characters he sells loose, not on card……………he has prototypes before my engineer has them, not good 🙁

These are nice customs, never bought one because I did not like the brown/yellow of the Rusteze logo on the different colors except for the gold one. I prefer Shopluckey’s Ransburg style custom McQueens, as the Rusteze decals match the actual paint color of the car.

Where did those individual cases come from? Been looking for some of those for a few Cars…
I get them from Hobby Lobby. You can sign up at their website for weekly coupons. I buy a case of 6 when I get the 40% off coupon to save money. Normally its 7.99 for a case of 6.
The ones at Hobby Lobby are clear bases and angled tops, these are not like the ones the promo cars come in with the black bases and square corners as in Mega’s pictures of his Ransburg style cars.
Do the ones from Hobby Lobby keep the cars from rolling back and forth in the box?
use velcro dots (under the car) that way you dont have to drill or glue them down
Velcro dots can be found in the sewing section of Walmart
Or, you can use the 40% coupon at Hobby Lobby and get the velcro dots there as well.
Custom Craft in California makes the “jeweled cases” you are reffering to.
pretty cheap and alot of scratches
I Have duplicate cases like the Sidewall Shine and N20 Cola casess prototypes coming. and ones for 1-50th scales too.
