Mattel Disney Pixar Diecast CARS: The Walmart “Deleted” Thing
As some people are reporting, Walmart is showing deleted on incoming CARS singles.
That is correct because Walmart will no longer carry the non-lenticular mainline CARS … aka, what we call the classics and what we’ve been collecting all along.
Officially called “CARS Character Car Assortment”
It is Item #M1054 with a master UPC of 0-27084-55835-7
Instead Walmart will be carrying …
“CARS Character Car With Eyes Assortment”
Item # P7001
Master UPC of 0-27084-76156-6
So, ask for it by name!
In other words …
ONLY Target will carry the “classics” non-lenticular CARS …
No, not my Bentley, this is the loaner, my seats are not heating up properly … 🙂

We all have to remember Salutin Sarge…he is IN the Lenticulars case, which means the NEW cars will be available everywhere, WM, Kmart, TRu and Target…doesn;t it?? Just not in Canada
I think Customs will stop all Salutin Sarge’s, for fear of an invasion of armed forces.
Yeah I was wondering about those who have found the new Cars with eyes cases. I am guessing they just mixed them in with all the others, or did they do a reset for the new cars.
so does this mean walmart will clearence the race o rama cars to $ 1.00 ?
because thats what they did with the old hot wheels classics series’s 1,2,3 and 4.
Well, that kind of suits me just fine, since the only stores close to me that I tend to ever find anything at…are Target.
MET, will KMart continue to carry singles after case K? I’m pretty sure I have seen every new case in one Kmart or another (up to but not including Case H) until now.
(MET: After CASE K, excluding other Kmart Collector DAYS Cars, they will only carry the lenticulars as singles).
In Italy Nothing will be changed! No Walmart,No target,No Kmart….

You know these are hard times when someone drives a Bentley and has to shop at Target. Hopefully they didn’t get any door dings.
The two Targets near me are horrible on restocking Cars; and get hit regularly by eBayers. I am not too crazy about the Lenticulars either. So this may be the beginning of the end for me.
In our area, Target is the ONLY one restocking CARS at all, TRU has had NOTHING in over 2 months, WM hasn’t has a case come in for weeks.
Just shows that it all depends on how each individual store chooses to handle this line of products.
I will take new anything right now. And I didn’t know people driving Bentleys shopped at Target. Unless they are living in their Bentley. Do you live in your Bentley, Met?
(MET: I did but the pizza stains are hard to get out so now I take my yellow Toyota pickup when I’m eating pizza 🙂 People think it’s rust stains when it just tobacky spit).
I think Bentleys in California are like Pontiacs everywhere else.
In West Palm Beach and Boca Raton I have seen many Bentley, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin… at Targets and even at WalMarts. It is kind of a funny site now that I think about.
The Walmart employee was scanning the lenticular LMcQ for stock availability and said they had lots….but it also kept scanning as “deleted” that’s when he said once they sell out they’re gone. He didn’t even know where they were he had to ask me where I got the item…..they weren’t pegged only on the shelf. But he didn’t hassle me when I asked him if I could get Sarge.
When I left there sure were alot of lenticular LMcQ…..definitely the new peg warmer.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!! I DON’T HAVE A TARGET STORE NEAR ME!!! THAT MEANS NO MORE CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
P.S. I have been collecting for about three years now! It seems it is all over 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 CRY!
We have not had a new single in Canada for almost one year Alicia, but I bet you and I are all caught up…thanks to WONDERFUL traders HERE on Take5…don;t worry, they will keep you up to date…and occasionally we will get a bone, lik eearly Launcher releases or MM that US don;t get….keep your chin up, Take 5 has your bumper!!

Walmart the 1000 pound gorilla just got KO’d by a smaller simian. How long will this last once the googly eyed cars sit on the shelves and everyone runs to the bullseye to get the new castings?
Or maybe kids will want the older cars with lenticular eyes and Walmart likes the product and thinks it will sell well?

Being repeats and the pretty hefty price increase could destine these for peg warming. Then WM will demand the other line back, Mattel bows down to them, TGT and everyone else get the shaft. The gorilla will not go away!
Yeah I am not thrilled with this at all. I have never had any luck at Target finding new mainline singles. Oh well at least there is a place to get them still 🙂
So it begins in full. Megacorps now split up their customers just like the Internet does with viewers. Should I take the red pill or the blue one?
