Is it me or there is not much interest into these mini? At least on this forum there is not much discussion about them. For me, I have an absolute zero interest. Some are cool but that’s it. “Collect them all” doesn’t not apply to this mini world into my collection…
The inherent problem is they are all REPEATS! Besides the cute factor there isn’t much difference. Been there, done that, have that.
Same here, a dilution of the Mattel effort that I am not in the least interested in buying.
Same, I don’t have any interest in buying these. They’re cute and fun, but not that cute.
I have maybe 18 or so and I really do like them, however I just cannot buy whatever I want as I have been building my 1:55 scale collection. Honestly, if the Tomicas were easier to come by I would prefer to collect them over the Mattels instead.
I have 2 Tomica/Tomy cars (The Next Gen Apple racer and Next Gen Intersection/Flip Dover) and they are great. Very nicely done and excellent detail. A cool bonus is the name of the character on the bottom of the car. I also like that their expressions are different from Mattel releases.
