I made similar “efficiency planning models” for the U.S.P.S., Rapistan (conveyors), Monsanto (Chemicals, Ag, and Enviro-Chem), Anheuser-Busch and others back when I worked as a professional model builder.

I gave that career up 16 years ago, digital media and CGI was making such heavy inroads that there was less and less work every year. My main thing was always trains, but no layout, and now books have overtaken the basement.
