Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 3: Thunder Hollow Crazy 8 Derby Diecasts Checklist

The first of the Crazy 8 Racers at Thunder Hollow are arriving.

Thanks for the pics, “Samuel K.”

Cigalert (for those that do not live in California – “Sig Alert” is jargon for traffic reporting).

Taco

We are going to get a lot of diecasts from the hilarious Thunder Hollow Crazy 8 racers scene.

Of course, Miss Fritter has been out since May and Dr. Damage has made a limited appearance.

The ones marked in yellow are part of a 2-pack.

I wasn’t sure about if Stu appeared here so I included him.

There are some box sets listed but no idea what the contents are but presumably a few exclusives and re-releases.

Lumpy.

There is also a playset – the Disney Pixar Cars 3 Crazy 8 Crashers Smash & Crash Derby Playset which looks like a nice way to keep them displayed – you’ll have to supply your own dirt-mud though.

The vehicles included are plastic.

This is also part of Amazon’s Coupon – buy $25, get $5 off of CARS products.

Coming this Fall is the “Thunder Hollow Criss-Cross Track Set” so if you want the CRAZY 8 feature …

WHIPPLEFILTER!

There is also a kid’s book coming in SEPT on the Thunder Hollow race and it seems to imply that the DVD-Blu Ray will be out in SEPT.

Splendid, we’re falling behind big time – we’re still looking for Tow Cap and Lil Torqueys, no Walgreens around us has a big display (bye Pizza Planet Todd), and now Taco and Cigalert. SAD

(MET: Don’t worry – Tw Cap & Lil Torqueys will be available at other retailers soon. Taco & Cigalert are in very limited quantity so far so have patience. If you’re an opener – Todd will be available with a booklet later this year).

Nice post! Shouldn’t Luigi/Guido with Rag be marked with a yellow dot since they’re in a 2-pack? Also, Stu did not appear at the derby.

(MET: Technically, Luigi & Guido are a 2-pack single and you can no longer buy them separately so they are just shown together – it was more of a guide to save you a few bucks if you’re an opener, you can buy the 2-pack which mostly comes with one of the CARS that is also available as a single – HIT & RUN are shown together since they are not listed as being available as a single … though there are several box sets listed also …).
