Disney Planes Fire & Rescue: Make Your Own Muir the Train

“79nitroade30” couldn’t wait for the Mattel Muir the Train so he decided to make his own.

muir side

Pretty sweet.

You can compare it Mattel’s version here.

I think “79nitroade30” mentioned it’s O-scale – right scale for 1:55 CARS? Thanks for the great pics here, “79nitroade30!”

What about the size of the Mattel and the Disney store version? Does anyone have pics to compare the size?

I will be doing the same but in HO scale. I know it is a little small but I run in HO and I am creating Trev (all 3 parts) right now.

O Scale is traditionally 1:48 in the USA, and 1:43 in the UK — though often the scale of trains from Lionel is subjective. S Scale is 1:64, American Flyer made most of them. The tender here looks to be one of those made by Lionel for one of their wild west 4-4-0’s or perhaps the “General” from the Civil War.
