    What about the size of the Mattel and the Disney store version? Does anyone have pics to compare the size?

    I will be doing the same but in HO scale. I know it is a little small but I run in HO and I am creating Trev (all 3 parts) right now.

    O Scale is traditionally 1:48 in the USA, and 1:43 in the UK — though often the scale of trains from Lionel is subjective. S Scale is 1:64, American Flyer made most of them. The tender here looks to be one of those made by Lionel for one of their wild west 4-4-0’s or perhaps the “General” from the Civil War.
