Mattel Disney Pixar CARS Diecast: T Case Sure Looks Like Case A – 2014
As “BMW” has chimed in and “Quercy” sends along a photo of the new 2014 cards …
As you can tell, it’s essentially the 2013 cards – carrying over the same “themes” motif (changing out the background to a different speedway screenshot), and bringing back the World of CARS banner – so I guess we can call these “Themes 2014: WOC.”
So, while Mattel is still insisting this is case T, it does seem most likely it’s CASE A – Themes 2014, World of CARS … not a terribly exciting case but for stores with empty pegs, it’s a good roundup for newbies with both Lightning McQueen’s from the 2 films, Mater, Francesco and how can you go more than 3 case without Marlon Clutches McKay making an appearance … who apparently is the HR person who okays the tranfers of funds from Pixar’s bank to your bank account every 2 weeks. 🙂
It is the first release of Fillmore with Headset, N20 Cola and Timothy Twostroke into the mainline singles release but other than that, there’s not much for long time collectors.

Wow. Um, kinda a let down. I’m not a carded collector so I don’t need a single Car in this case.
How to dampen enthusiasm for a product line without even trying… I think stores will be very disappointed to see that many of us are going to leave Cars we already have as singles from other series on the pegs… I see myself buying N2O Cola, Timothy Twostroke, and Race Team Fillmore, possibly Wingo with Flames, and if he’s been updated to a unibody, Raoul… and that’s it.
Terribly disappointing. This is the best Mattel can do for the first case of a new year? Boo. This case stinks!
