General Mills Bringing Back All 5 Monster Cereals for Halloween
General Mills is bringing back their 5 Monster Cereals. Most people can name the Big 3 but can you name all 5?
I could not. I’m not sure I ever tried the other two but Fruity Yummy Mummy looks hilarious! Must try!
Anyone with fond memories of Fruit Brute?

Frute Brute???? Never heard of it. Yummy Mummy, yes. And the rest, of course.
I worked for General Mills for 37 years. The “Monsters” were always favorites around this time of year and the plants went into “holiday” production around early to mid September to make sure the distribution channels were able to get the product to stores in time. As a production scheduler, I had to order hundreds of “totes” (4x4x4 foot pallet cartons) of “Mar-Bits” which is what, at the production level the marshmallow shapes on the packages were called. This, in addition to the 190,000 pound carloads of oat flour, sugar and lots of other ingredients, resulted in a lot of truck and railroad traffic. It was a challenging but often rewarding job ! I’m glad to see that GM “resurrected” Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy.
Never heard of Fruit Brute or Yummy Mummy. The local Wegmans has the other three on an end cap for $2/box.
Picked them up in Stop N Shop last week. This week, none were to be found!
Only the retro boxes are exclusive to Target. The cereal itself shouldn’t be exclusive.
Yep, I just saw a pallet with 200-300 boxes at my local Gerbes (Kroger).
There were more than three? lol
Hmm, so not available in Germny cause we do not have Target. And I bet my boys would have loved them.

I still have a Fruit Brute light switch cover. It used to glow in the dark.
I didn’t know they ever went away.
