Mattel Disney Pixar CARS 2 Diecast: Even at Disneyland …

At least we know that all retailers are treated exactly the same …

Disneyland. Store inside Disneyland.

disneyland

Now if they had 150 of each diecast – each with 18 pegs, that would be cool to see … but just Francesco’s? – Not so much. At least we know, Matty treats Disneyland with as much interest as the Target in Anchorage …

Thanks for the nice photo, “Nikko.”

On wednesday (5/22/13) This is what sarge’s surplus hut looked like. The next day on thursday, stores at Cars Land and throughout both parks had numerous case c and d assortments. Bummer no A and B that’s what I’m missing, would have even paid the inflated $7.95 per car.

(MET: Well, at least it’s something … most A&B case CARS are coming back in later cases …)

At least when I went to Disney World last November, they had the Becky Wheelin case. Still mostly Finns, Maters, Francescos, and McQueens though.

  • hypercarrots says:

sarges surplus hut had case d singles and leland 2 pk and mama topolino 2 pk last weekend and last month those 2 pks were there as well

I concur with everyone! We have been collecting “Cars” die-cast since their inception. We planned a trip to “Carsland” the Mecca of any Cars the movie Diecast collector and kids only to find the diecast assortment at, the park, downtown Disney, our on the grounds hotel and worst of all Carsland to be utterly disappointing. We had spent around $10 K on the trip and could not find one measly car or exclusive we did not already have. Wouldn’t you think if you spent 200 million dollars on one ride in Carsland you would want every kid to go home with Diecast cars to remember the event or offer cars the “Guest’s” as Disney calls us you could only get at Disneyland the only place to have a life-size reproduction of Radiator Springs. The attraction is soo cool & the cars that the kids play with only perpetuate the desire to go back or make the trip to California. The only reason people in the Midwest go to Disneyland over Disneyworld is Carsland and Disney did an epic fail in not providing us an opportunity to spend all the money we had allocated to spend exclusively on DIECAST CARS.
    Disney whoops!!!!
Since we went a couple of months ago my wife has returned several times on business to shop the park for cars only to be disappointed over and over by the

Wouldn’t you be bummed out? My son was so excited at the possibility of finding a Car at Carsland no one else had.
We had to settle for a replica of the ride car you have to assemble you can’t really play with because it is so fragile.
So are you listening DISNEY we spent our extra money at LEGOLAND. Would have rather came home with exclusive cars at even a premium price. But no someone would rather sell a few cars at a D23 event and make a few thousand dollars than several million by giving us what we want at Carsland for cool Diecast Cars. Didn’t anyone at Disney see John Lasseter’s diecast car collection I am sure he would be in for park exclusive cars. Give me a Apple car with a Carsland decal on the tail fin. Give me a box set so cool I would fork out $ 100.00 or even $ 250.00. or more. I bet I am not the only one who wishes for something that cool. I bet the Take5aday family could come up with some cool box sets with ALL exclusive cars they would scrimp or save for.
    Hmmmmmmmm,

  • cac1959 says:

Mattel should strike a deal with Disney and with all the stores that have way too many Francesco, Finn, etc… free to customers… and Mattel should credit stores for the non-selling inventory items.

  • hypercarrots says:

i saw almost the same thing and took a picture too, except there is one carlo maserati in my picture.

  • John in Missouri says:

Even Mama Bernoulli is sick of seeing all the Francesco’s!

  • netmatrix says:

  • brittanycenter2007 says:

It was like this when I visited disney world a year ago. I could not believe they had such a poor selection.

  • John in Missouri says:

    But what a deal: 4 for $25.00

  • John in Missouri says:

    Disney should be completely embarrassed!
