While it reads sold out for now, more are coming – not sure when so keep checking the page HERE. As “Unmixed” noted when he attempted to type in a huge number in the Quantity Box early in the day, the web page reported @4,800 as sold out (if you attempted to order that many) but later in day, it was down to @80 the number that that triggered SOLD OUT and now, of course, it just shows SOLD OUT.
Don’t panic too much.

Here’s is probably what happened – the set may be limited to @5,000 and the warehouse felt safe using that number not thinking there would be a mad rush – but as orders started coming in, they realized they could not fulfill every order within hours/a few business days so they went to the actual number in the warehouse which was probably around 1,000.
So, if placed an order and got a confirmation, you should be safe. But as the order numbers got close to the warehouse on-hand numbers, they decided it was better to close it off until more actually arrived.
Now, if you absolutely need one guaranteed. The only brick & mortar Disney Store that is on the list to get this set in-store is the NYC Times Square Disney Store.* If you don’t live in the area, you can call them at (212) 626-2910 and ask if they have Item No. 6172036510093P – CARS Tractor Tipping Set. Stores will do mail order though unlike the Disney stores website, they don’t offer free shipping. Let us know if they have it in stock.
* It may be available in a very limited few other “flagship” like stores so maybe Chicago and LA? If you call and ask – let us know what answers you get, good luck!

Did anyone else catch the last available stock on 11/30? If so, have you received your set? I was lucky enough to grab one when they came back on, but disneystore.com still has not emailed confirmation of shipping- they are telling me that there is a bit of a delay, but ensured that the set would be shipped by the 10th. Anyone else having this issue? REALLY hoping they don’t screw the order up, as we all know how difficult these are to find.
PS: For those still looking, it appears that Children’s Toy Closet is selling them for $79.00 with $20 off your purchase (THIS ITEM ONLY). Still a bit pricey, but beats the $100 ebay price tag. 🙂

That was awesome I saw you posted that. Got my order in this morning. Now I can let the kids play with our open Frank and have the warm feeling that there is another sealed. I have been nervous for the last 2 years that they would destroy ours.
I really must be the luckiest guy because my wife ordered this for me. It just came to my office. Best surprise ever!

I called the NYC Times Square store today and was told they had them in stock but will not ship them because they are of limited quanity.
I have called stores everywhere and the only one that said they had them was in Ohio but were sold out now.
I just called the Times Square store and at first they said they didn’t have any left but then the lady found one in a location other than where they were to be and she said it was the last one. AND they are shipping it to me. All said and done with tax and shipping it was $51.96 since it was on sale for $39.50. Not a bad deal at all!!,!
So disappointing. My son has been wanting Frank and a tractor for so long! I just happened to check the site that day for new items and put this in my cart, got distracted with work and when I went back to complete purchase, gone! I called Disneystore.com and they know nothing.
Called NYtimes store and who I spoke with said they never received. I am in DC area, called a store here, one person said they had it before, another said never had it.
Please tell me this will come back!

I just looked up DisneyStore.com’s “Price Adjustment Policy”. It says:
Sale price adjustments will be honored on items purchased from The Disney Store or DisneyStore.com that are reduced in price within 7 days from the shipped date.
Since it is now 33% off, I wonder if they will honor the new price for those who ordered it yesterday?
Yahoo! I was able to get a refund of the price difference! I just contacted “Guest Services” and sent them an email with the order number and customer number and an explanation that the price is now $39.50 versus $59.50.
They gave me a refund on the two i got yesterday. But it will be coming back in the form of an e-certificate gift card in 3-5 days so we don’t actually get the money back but we can spend more!! They told me this was their policy.

There are none in the Chicago area. I called every single store in the area and nothing and per them they can’t tell me which stores would have it.
I called the New York store and they said they were sold out. I asked her if they were getting more and she said “probably” but she wasn’t sure. If anyone bought an extra I would be extremely interested in one . . . Package doesn’t need to be mint because it would be a Christmas gift for a four year old to play with.

Too bad these were not still being sold, they are being listed today at a 33% discount, $39.50.
It will be interesting to see if Disney Store puts this back up and how quickly it sells out the second time…
