Spongebob Gets Over-Animated – Stop Motion Christmas Special!
CBS presents a new stop-motion animated special, IT’S A SPONGEBOB CHRISTMAS!, based on the hit Nickelodeon animated series “SpongeBob SquarePants,” on Friday, Nov. 23 at 9:30 Eastern/Pacific.
SPOILER ALERT – Spongebob is an actual sponge here … man, that will take some getting used to … 🙂
Hey kids, when we saw and heard this pre-roll, we knew we were in a for TV holiday treat! Remember when a Christmas special would air ONCE a year, no video, no DVD, no on-demand, no nuttin’ … except for 3 networks. Does anyone believe that? 🙂 (well, PBS but only boring costumes dramas after 2 PM).

My kids watched this last night and loved it. They are watching it again right now.
We only bought TV Guide once a year back in the day, just to see the schedule for all the Christmas specials. We now own most of them on DVD, but I still enjoy catching them “live” on the networks.
Awesome! Have to set the DVR for this one!
